Is it as hard to shoot a moving target in multiplayer as it is in singleplayer? Maybe I just suck, but I can hardly land any shots into a moving enemy if I'm moving, too. (I normally use cover, but I was just experimenting to see how the game would feel during multiplayer, where you can't take cover.)

I think in my experience it was easier when I played the beta. I seem to be having a problem in single player.. but it could just be I'm out of practice. During the beta I was playing for hours every other night.
 
So I've gotten all the way back to the very start of the level and as far as on top of the floodgate by using the transport glitch to get out of the level. What isn't good is that you can still shoot out at people and throw grenades from below the level. I was able to down several of my teammates while firing from underneath the level. If someone finds a way to do this in multiplayer, (a la CoD:WaW), it might not be too pretty.

KZ1 was a freaking blast to glitch on though. I remember spending a whole night climbing to the top of the Slums. :)
 
The game is pretty hard, especially when they send 1000 helgans at you at the same time :X

But awesome

Anyway, do I need to worry about burn in on my Sony 55X4500 tv? I ask this as I got burn in on my old Samsung LCD tv and this one costs so much that I don't wanna risk it :/

I don't know if the guy is crazy or a viral marketer but everything on PS3 is greaattttttttt..... I was always quite amused that his web persona here took as much as he did and he apparently has lots of "fans" on neogaf.

Why is that the new insult? Time was you insulted somebody's intelligence, now it seems you throw mud at them. Of all the shit that we DIDN'T need spilling into public life from 21st Century political campaigning, attack ads is the biggest.

You do realize that we're a stones throw from people who accuse people of being Sony Viral Marketeers being accused of being Microsoft Marketeers.

Seriously, Sony spends no money on Marketing - what makes you think they'd plant a bunch of espionage agents on this board?

I played the demo again just for that. It was quite disturbing to have a warehouse full of headless bodies. I felt sick afterwards. This might be the first game to feature post war trauma :S

Since I got out from under Corporate Oversight I've found the freedom to post what I really think just the way that I think it to be incredibly freeing.

Maybe my newfound enthusiasm for giving people my opinion is refreshing - sort of a puppy like eagerness. I'm sure someone will take great delight in harshing my mellow, but until they do I'm gamboling in fields of flowers here.

One thing, maybe I'm wrong, that I think set him apart from your average mega fan is that he was very good at composing his thoughts and I never really saw him going into other threads to stir up trouble. So he was fine by me.

Which one? Because there are two pistols, and the one in the demo is a Magnum. Needless to say, that thing is a beast.

I agree. At the very least, even when I disagree with him, he has the sense to structure a solid argument fairly, without resulting to petty bickering (at least, not with me anyway).

Hoffman is nobody you should take serious or admire.

He's good at his game but don't be fooled, he runs a cesspool of a forum harboring some really ignorant and nasty people that contribute to so much miss-information that constantly derails quality discussion. I think he genuinely likes Killzone 2, but this forum is a much better place without him.

NeoGAF is a forum where it is normal to see members openly celebrate forum drama. People with unpopular opinions are not the problem to be concerned with. Some people here literally strive off of the drama -- that is not only pathetic, but it is also disruptive.

edit: being banned for having an alt is a matter of following rules. break rules, get ban. separate issue.

well having multiple GAF accounts is bannable for one, so why should any legit poster use SNAH and Private Hoffman during the same period?

We all have bias, and it comes into our opinions all the time.. but when you have a reputation for spreading miss-information, I think there is a problem.

It is! It's just hard to use to full effect, as it doesn't zoom in at all when going into iron sights.

Even then, I've found it's pretty damn effective even at longer distances. I love that weapon.

As far as KZ2 is concerned, after playing the demo a few more times, I think I'm going to stick to Alt 2. I don't like both using the stick to zoom in, and having the iron sight button on toggle instead of hold. Since holding down the stick and aiming at the same time is so gosh darn impractical, Alt 2 seems to be the best option for me. I have no issues with having to press both L2 and L1 to crouch and aim, even if it is a little less than ideal.

Ultimately, I could work with Standard 1 if it came down to it, but Alt 2 just feels a lot more natural to me. Plus clicking the right stick for melee attacks feels so damn good.
