All I can say is I'm glad I'm not into clown pron :lol .

Anyway back on topic I'm starting to get all demo'd out now, I've played it longer than I played most full games, think I'm going to have a break from it, I've really gotten used to the controls, although circle strafing is still a bit difficult but tbh I doubt I'll need to do that much in this game.

So those people will have a hard time getting into the gaf clan right? Or can they just join a chat group? Only members can see Online forum heh.

After all the heated discussions in this thread about the game, I don't think anyone saw the cause for loss of forum life being what it was lol...

Fuck, I forgot to get some of their S/N's for some MP awesomeness. Oh well, time to try and find their names. :(

Anywas, I don't remember the beta MP controls being that much quicker, if it was at all, compared to the SP Demo. Obviously when you loaded out with the SMG you noticed a difference, but I'm talking AR SP to AR MP. Meh. Early release please! :D

Lots of killzoned when I was offline. I wiped out some Helghast for you guys. Back to topic, I had an awesome explosion today way better then that gif.

I wish the demo went for a longer amount of time. Playing the same section 5 minute section on repeat can only hold my interest for so long. :(

Such an awesome couple of weeks. Next week, SFIV, then Killzone, and then RE5. Like I said, awesome.

i take it the retail copy is already in some stores? so unless you own a game store you won't be able to play it early?

its unbearable arg...

edit: are the controls fully customizable in the retail ver?

So, guys and gals, how's the demo?

Too short. But still enough to get you hoping on an early release, considering there's so many pics of people getting the game way early.

I guess the servers aren't on yet, and you can't set up bot matches by chance huh? I'm curious since I honestly can't recall if there's a difference in movement speed (like turning) from SP to MP. I know the weight is still there, but is it slightly lessened?

flOwer this week. I've been waiting so long for that game. It will hold me off until KZ2. Also I'm having a thing with Burnout Paradise again. I'm more than able to wait.

The game is pretty hard, especially when they send 1000 helgans at you at the same time :X

But awesome

Anyway, do I need to worry about burn in on my Sony 55X4500 tv? I ask this as I got burn in on my old Samsung LCD tv and this one costs so much that I don't wanna risk it :/
That' image retention or image sticking. It's temp, it'll be on the screen as long as the black bar been on the TV. It took me a month to get rid of a week's worth of PS2 game playing on my PS3.

Holy shit! I completely forgot about FlOwer. I wish I wouldn't keep forgetting, that game looks so fucking great.

Guys, I already know how the demo is. ;p

I'm actually interested in how much the weather in the game actually factors into the gameplay (and the story). Most know that grenades might roll back right at your feet because of the wind etc., but are there any other elements that utilize it?

Yea man a couple of thats ok.

How is the pacing in the game? do the levels stay consistent all the way through? and are there any parts that seem to drag on / low points.

would you say its up there with the best of them?

thanks!

Hard to walk in the wind.

I like the electric bugs :)

I think the pacing is fab actually, I mean, there's no bullshit in KZ2, and its not like Gears 2 when you do the whole ice lake thing with the tank, then its like "another ice lake coming up!" There are plenty of vehicle segements, but they are never repeated, and they end before you get sick of them.

Yeah, its up with the best of them.

I like the electric bugs :)

But the spiders? They're gonna give me nightmares. Fuck, aracnophobics beware.

Are there actually people playing(cheating) online pre-release?

With the servers down, I dunno how they could.

On a scale from 12 to 15, how many stars would you give it?
keep in mind that you can answer in .154 increments if you so wish

Something that might not be known, is that you can play any section of any level from the Mission Select. Easy to jump in and play your favourite bits.

I don't think the 8th level has been in any videos or screenshots, but I was astounded by some of the graphics. I think I said Mirror's Edge meets The Force unleashed before.

I think .156 increments give a much clearer and more precise indication of how good a game is. We can stick to your (inferior) method if you like.

When in the game do you obtain this weapon:

I think its in the level in that GIF; Suljeva Village, which is six levels in. It's basically the crossbow from Gears of War (with the exploding darts), but you can pin Helghast to the wall.

Oh right, that nail gun. Badass. Reminds me of Painkiller.

How do the bots hold up?

Please tell me about the story telling. Cut scenes (realtime?cgi?), ingame dialogs, etc?

Cut scenes, I think they are an Uncharted type deely, cgi but using models from the game. Plenty of in game dialog. The story is fine, it has some emotional moments and for the most part, they're carried off well (hate to keep ragging on Gears 2, but HAVE YOU SEEN MY WIFE?!?). Its solid, just not particularly memorable, no worse than any other game of this type.

Pretty well, you get different difficulty settings, and some will go for the objective, and some will fanny about.

OMG that's awesome.

I think that burn in happens when you have a still picture a long time on the screen.
