So...
1/2 the game play as the Shadow Marshal (w/ slow mo ability)
the other 1/2 play as a helgahn assassin (with cloak ability) as seen in the trailer.
There are multiple abilities available for mapping.

is that confirmed?
i like the idea, but what specific abilities are you referring to?
look at the bottom left corner of the screen....
no comprendo.. bottom left corner of what screen.

Fuck, the only time where one can kill Rico and he´s not in the game.
it's actually one big image, lending credence to the dual campaigns.
30 years after KZ3 Templar's old buddy Rico will either be a General or court martialed. Both positions offer plenty opporunities for an assassin to apply bullet to head.
Dual campaign is great. DIE ISA SCUM.
The sacrifices for 60fps will always be pronounced. If you think of the shooters this generation that run at 60, it's basically CoD and RAGE, both hideous.
I think 30fps is fine for consoles. The gamepad is kind of a mushy interface, it's not like on PC where 30fps makes mouse look feel utterly sluggish.
I started with KZ2 as well but I did skim through a back story timeline of the universe that they used to have on their website. For whatever reason they took it down, but some fans did manage to copy all the text to a wiki, unfortunately without all the artwork that went along with it.I want to get into Killzone more. I bought the Trilogy cheap, but the first game just killed it for me. Should I skip it and go to the second game? I'm interested in Shadow Fall, and expect it to be the first game I play on my PS4, now that it's a launch title, but I'm hesitant.
These new pieces of concept art (along with the artist's comment, "Hope soon there will be more pics of this dude") makes me think the game will feature dual campaigns a la Halo 2.
I haven't been following the KZ:SF threads super closely, so please forgive me if these images have already been posted and whether or not the above assumption is already old news (or debunked):

Snowy mountains in the background too, seems like we'll get another Icy Incursion.it's actually one big image, lending credence to the dual campaigns.
Seems unlikely, you'd need to redo lots of animation work at this point. I imagine they'll improve IQ, effects, etc. There are rumours that KZ:SW was running only using approx: 1.5GB of RAM.
Linky
I'd like to think that 60fps would be possible if they have approx 7.5GB of RAM to play with for the final game.
Concept artists are guys who make concept art.Concept artist are the guys that draw pictures. Look at what that guys fields of expertise is in, he's not a concept artist.

Why would they ever need to prepare for PC ports? It'll never happen. And I disagree, often PC ports look awful in terms of animations.Isn't it a bit short-sighted to make animations that can't scale/use interpolation or whatever wizard's jizz makes console ports look just fine in terms of animation on PC at 60 fps?

There are tons of 3D concept artists these days.

Rage? I thought it looked really good.
This could be a truly spectacular launch.
Why do you think that? just because of Killzone? This could be a truly spectacular launch.
From the one's shown so far I'm just excited about KZ,I don't need to buy a PS4 for Watch Dogs.Their launch lineup is looking good so far. Killzone, Watchdogs, driveclub and obviously several as of yet announced third party titles.

Great launch lineup indeed: Killzone Shadow Fall is a far superior launch title than say... Resistance Fall of Man.

This is shaping up to be one of the best launches in a while for me. I'm really looking forward to:
Killzone
Watch Dogs
Driveclub
These would make me buy a PS4 day 1. And that's not even counting other launch games we don't know about yet.
We don't know.Infamous isn't launch aligned?

Sure, if that and Infamous are in the launch lineup then I can say it's stellar.True, but it never hurts to have solid games on your new console, even if they're not exclusive. And Watchdogs looks pretty solid imo.
We don't know yet. R:FoM was an outstanding game back in the day imo. But no doubt we'll be impressed by K:SFGreat launch lineup indeed: Killzone Shadow Fall is a far superior launch title than say... Resistance Fall of Man.
What's with this misplaced bitter snark?
People (including me) wanted confirmation if it was realtime or a target render or in engine pre recorded or something.
Noone said it couldn't possibly be real time (maybe one guy? so you all point your snark at one guy, ok then).
Infamous isn't launch aligned?
Apparently Killzone: Shadow Fall (and the rest of the real time demos) ran on a dev kit with only 1.5GB GDDR5 usable for graphics.

Incredible if true.
There is no way that they'll have too many big games at launch, just saying.KZ4 and infamousSS aren't enough personally, i hope they have a couple more things to show at E3, then we can start talking
