This is your brain on propaganda

There's a pretty interesting documentary where this Russian visits North Korea and he shows you the extent of the propaganda. It's pretty incredible how North Koreans are conditioned to follow the supreme ruler of the country. It's also kind of sad because they are extremely limited in what they can do.

If he is gone wonder if his sister had a hand it in and used the operation as a tome to strike? I mean Kim killed hos uncle to get power, it runs in the family

Why do you think he’s incompetent?
The world wouldn't be slowly turning on China now if he was competent.
The pandemic is the major turning point, but there were other things like the handling of Hong Kong protests or ridiculously authoritarian decisions like forbidding images of winnie the pooh (seriously, anyone with a shred of familiarity with how memes work should've known that such decision would backfire splendidly).

What if it’s all according to keikaku?

If his keikaku is helping the regime crumble into itself, its working.

So that means Xi jinping is actually a Lelouch-esque existence?

I'd say it all depends on how the rest of the world responds. It's looking promising right now, but we don't know how deeply the tentacles are rooted. If Trump loses this year, it's game over and we will be welcoming our new Chinese overlords by 2030.

I don't think so. Its not a simple matter of who's in charge where. There's lots of resentment towards China, not just from outside but from inside too. Even some left-leaning outlets are starting to call them out.

Damn, you've reminded me I still have to watch that

I hope you’re right, and I’m leaning the same way, but I won’t be satisfied until after November.
