The fact that it took Taylor over a decade to get to where she is and Kim just destroyed ha in seconds

Even if the "made that bitch famous" line offended her why didn't she tell Kanye beforehand or at least say that there was a convo and she did give him the go ahead but that was before she heard this particular line? It seems to me that he went out of his way to keep it civilized and friendly with her and it was clearly a "misunderstanding" for want of a better word. Why publicly attack him? Also could the claims of Taylor hearing the song beforehand be true? How many people are saying that?

Personally, I think that Taylor holding back info (that during the phone call he did rap for her and she did agree to it but she did not hear the offensive line) is pretty telling. I wonder if Kanye himself was told of why she suddenly flipped on him. Even if this is all one big misunderstanding it seems pretty shady on her part.

Popgaf are those people that couldn't cut it in Hollywood, move back home to Minnesota, and tell everyone they work with at Starbucks about how much better life is in Hollywood.

On topic, the fact that Kanye had his conversation recorded automatically gives him the biggest L in history.

I don't really care about this feud but is there like no issue from Kanye fans with him calling her a bitch? Is it just acceptable in rap so it's not a big deal? I'm honestly not sure... not trying to troll or anything.

We have black rappers who have no problem calling other black people the n-word. Sometimes it's even used as a term of endearment, so no, in the context of rap the word bitch doesn't have much significance to fans. If you find that word offensive, then most of rap would be offensive to you.

It's different when you put a name to the insult. There's a difference between talking about all the bad bitches and talking about that bitch that writes bad pop songs

He calls Kim a bitch. It's a term of endearment in hip hop.

LOL. I don't think it works like that. Like, you can't just take a historically offensive word that is meant to be derogatory and insist you meant it as a term of endearment. I don't doubt that Kanye meant it that way, because I don't think he's a bad guy, but his intent can't redefine the word.

Hip-hop has done it before.

Jumping every ten pages is quite something. Also, please don't let any of these petty human beings be involved with the precedents of any laws.

I'm a Kanye fan but after this last album, he needs all the attention for it that he can get however he can get it. Not good at all.

At least half of TLOP makes a great album. It's sparser and more straightforward than his last 2 albums but it's still really good. My custom cut has only 10 tracks but those 10 are really solid.
