Kim Kardashian releases video of Kanye/Taylor Swift conversation about "Famous" lyric

"West’s team is ready to dispute Swift’s claims, however, another source tells PEOPLE. The insider says that the rapper always records his entire album-creation process for his archives, and that Swift was made aware she was on tape.

The source adds that Swift is on video approving all the verse lyrics, including “I made that bitch famous,” which wasn’t mentioned in the clips released Sunday"

I used to think that calling her a bitch and suggesting that he could have sex with her because he made her famous were pretty problematic lyrics.

But I think that's ok now that Taylor lied about it.

All of that was removed from the article you linked and is likely bs, if Kim had it on video she would have posted it by now.

People need to accept that Swift was probably actually pissed by being called a bitch and didn't know the full lyric beforehand. I really doubt she knew everything and pretended to be cool with it from the beginning, with the long con of making look like an asshole.

See the thing with this is that when she made her whole passive aggressive speech about Kanye at the Grammys(?) the entire focus of that speech was on the "famous" line and not about the "bitch" line. So even if she wasn't made aware of the bitch line, the fact that she still made a huge deal about a line she already knew about still reflects very Badly on her.

Yeah not trying to say she's innocent or anything she definitely was super passive aggressive with the speech. Just don't think it's crazy to think she was okay with what she heard, then heard the whole thing in context and got pissed and changed her mind.

I guess I'll take my L or whatever not even a big Swift fan, just playing devils advocate.

Depending on the state(s) they were in (IIRC California has this?) Kayne had to tell her she was being recorded. It doesn't matter if she lied to drum up publicity. That's it's own can of worms. But if Kayne didn't let her know she was being recorded in an area where that's needing to be notified, he could get in some serious trouble about that.

That said, I say this is meta-meta-drama and they both are in on it.

But including the word "bitch" in the line changes it's meaning and makes it more derogatory and aggressive. It sounds less like its all in fun and more like she's nothing and he really is claiming complete credit for her success. Assuming she wasn't told the full line, I think her point at the Grammys makes sense.

Honestly, my guess is that this is just a misunderstanding and Kanye really thought everything was cool. He probably didn't think the word "bitch" needed to be mentioned or was a big deal (because it's the norm in hip hop or whatever). And she probably didn't know about the inclusion of the word "bitch" and how the line was framed. Either that, or they're both in on it.

But the video of their conversation doesn't show Kanye telling her about the "famous" line at all, much less the "bitch" part of it. As far we know, she only approved the line about having sex with her.

Nothing about the bitch part; but the begining of the convo she's talking about 2 lines, and it only has Kanye spitting one.. so the other line was probably the "famous" line (however who knows if it said bitch at that point.)
