At toysrus.com add the Kinect to your cart.

In the cart,
Apply code 939418
Stack code 937237

You should end up at about $89 shipped. Dunno how long this will last. I think it may be a mistake. Takes it from a "no" to an "mmm, okay" for me.

Edit: They have some other decent deals with this code, like the XBOX live messenger kit for $41, and the 1600 point card for $11.99 (already sold out - hoping for a restock tomorrow).

50/50 in my experience. Since it's not FREE or they pay you to take it, I think there's a chance they'll honor it. Who knows? Maybe it's a covert marketing test by Microsoft to see if a better price point juices interest?

Welll, probably not. But I do have to play other games, too. And I play a lot, so if the price is sub-$100 I'll take a chance on Kinect, even though the E3 stuff for it underwhelmed me.

Does not work with the Move bundle or any individual Move controller. =( I would have actually gotten the bundle, an extra move, and a navi with this. *sigh*

Your money, I would "assume" that there will be AT LEAST one good "hardcore" game out for it within the first 12 months of its launch.

. Saving about $60 is pretty good... If you consider it "saving" even though you'll still be down $98 with no games to play, apart from the bundled one.

Hopefully this sticks, but I'm sure someone will abuse the thing and get it canceled for everyone.

I didn't use the search, just went to categories > XBOX360 > Consoles & Accessories > Controllers > Page 2

Search is unreliable on these sites.

It does now, MS confirmed that today. There aren't going to be any hardware only bundles. Kinect adventures is the pack in. TRS website just hasn't been updated.

And the sequel to Rez is on it.. that's enough for me. Plus Dance Central looks good.

I was checking under the category that had the vision camera as the icon assuming kinect would be there :lol

Yup, it isn't updated, so technically this product doesn't exist (With Kinect Game), it would have to be the Kinect Adventures bundle specifically.

There is no kinect version without a game, if it isn't listed it's because it's outdated, TRU wouldn't remove the game before shipping it :lol

FYI, if you search for Kinect, it'll just go to the splash page. If you search for Microsoft Kinect then it takes you to the product page.

Yea, I know. :lol

But it gives them more reason to cancel all the pre-orders because the item listed doesn't really exist as described on the site.

They'll just say it was an error and not honor it. MS is probably charging them 120 or so for the thing (best case scenario), so this is a loss for them. I fully expect cancellations, because knowing the internet, 20-30K of these things will be preordered in the next few hours.

Anyone know if TRU has given out gift cards in the past or canceled orders like this? I figure I have nothing to lose if they keep the order.

Would be kind of weird giving out gift cards for pre-order errors. Especially when the product listed "essentially" doesn't even exist (the bundle).

I just called up customer service at TRU just to make sure this was legit and they were surprised at what a deal it was so they called in a supervisor and he said it was mistake and that it would get fixed by the morning.

j/k, but you know some idiot has probably already done this

more likely costanza has ordered 345 of them using free amazon codes from ECA and will get it canceled for everyone.

I dont think its a coincidence that they put up a 1-day coupon and preorder right around the time the official price was announced.. hopefully it sticks

Ordered as soon as it was posted. It will be cancelled unfortunately. TRU dosent honor there mistakes. I ordered a DSi with a similar stacking code once and was quickly cancelled the next day. Even though my DSi was cancelled I did get a $10 coupon code which I spent on the GoW Collection.

considering they aren't honoring the move bundle, my guess is the kinect bundle was labeled as an accessory incorrectly. Even though it probably should count as one. What they really mean is "shit we mark up 70% over cost is 40% off". Move and Kinect don't fall under that category.

Anyway didn't order... Will most likely get kin+dance eventually but will let the launch pan out in case of early bomba price drops which I think will be unlikely. Either way IMO AAA game implementation later on and dance central alone make it totally worth it in the long run.
