Why? It was clearly a mistake and they were completely within their rights to cancel it, plus they offered $10 coupons for the people affected. I can see being disappointed because it was a deal that made Kinect a decent value proposition instead of a joke price, but getting mad at TRU for not honoring it is a little ridiculous.

There was always a chance of this. I look at it as $10 I didn't have before for almost no effort. Seems like a win. Less than the win of an $89 Kinect, but a win nonetheless.

The $10 gift card is a nice gesture, though. Was looking forward to mimicking "Minority Report" for less than $100.

Oh well. Will wait to see how adoption and support for Kinect pans out. Or another price error, lol.

Same here. My fallback plan was the Xbox Slim Arcade Bundle, but the Halo Reach edition Xbox has pretty much put the kibosh on that.

Why, I got 10 free dollars off a future purchase for doing nothing.

No point in getting mad, when you jump on these sorts of mistake/deals you have to figure there is a significant likelyhood of it being canceled.

I would have preferred the Kinect for 90 bucks for sure, but I got a 10 dollar discount instead of a 60 dollar one.
