Just finished it. The best singleplayer game I've tried for the console sofar(though note, I haven't tried Condemned yet).
I really love the idea of having no hud. Hopefully more games will try this. The voicework is amazing and it really sounds like you are there. When Jack(you) say something it sounds like you are saying it, whenever someone else speaks you can clearly detect the distance between you and direction. The breathing when you get tired is really well done(though my buddies thought it was abit funny).
Also, the enviroment in this game is brilliant.
It's a really good example of how good graphics can improve the experience(even if this was a multiplatform title, this port is excellent). Every stone looks slippery and wet, everything overgrown with weed and whatnot. And the nastiest bugs ever(though the lobsters are abit off). I freaking hate those millipedes.
I whish they spent some more time on the animation in the cutscenes and emotion though as apart from the amazing voicework, their faces look really stiff and overall movement can be abit jerky. Also, despite the dramatic ending of the story, the last part was over in a mere moment. I would like abit more involved ending.
Anyway, I highly recommend this game. Best movie tie in since Riddick.
Dice score is: 5 out of 6.
(Also, you get a ton of Gamerscore. 700-900 just for finishing the game.)
