well theres that whole executive producer for the halo movie thing, which is being filmed in Wellington at 3 foot six and Weta, so I assume he's not going to have a "name only" type association. I heard he was directing a movie as well and absolutely everything about it escapes me right now I think it's a more personal less fantasy type story though.

It depends on the producer/director and sometimes the producer can actually have more power over the movie than the director.

PJ likes fucked up stuff like that. heavenly creatures was pretty weird. freaky murder scene.

yeah but it is at the studio he built in wellington where he also lives (not sure how much these days), plus If King Kong goes well, I'm sure he wants to be known as the guy who can make a blockbuster any time he wants, so he should have quite a vested interest in Halo doing well.
