obviously KCD 2, but i'm not crazy over it like i thought i would be.

I hope the game reveals itself in the details, the depth of the design.

Im playing avowed on gamepass.

Is KC2 a direct sequel to the original or standalone like an oblivion to skyrim joint?

Avowed for me, no amount of good writing can make me digest the rubbish, clunky, fake looking, unimpactful combat system of kc.

Avowed is on GamePass, so the poll or OP should really be centered around ‘playing’, not ‘buying’.

I’ll play Avowed on GP. Never played any Kingdom Come game before, but the trailers and videos for KCD2 look really good, so I’m looking forward to giving that a try too!

No interest in either game.

KCD2 will be way more successful.

My time and money will go towards MHWilds.
I'm with you on this, both look fine, but their success will be little compared to the success of MHW and the onslaught of coverage from every corner of the gaming industry.

By the time these games are out and people are well into them, everything will be about Wilds. That game is going to outsell everything until GTA6.

Need an option for undecided.

I'm waiting on reviews/impressions for Avowed. Of the two, I'm more interested in Avowed, but I need to see impressions/reviews from people I trust first.

I'm unsure of KCD2. I didn't play the first, but I bought it recently. My decision about KCD2 will probably depend on how much I like the first game. I'm hesitant based on what I've heard of the combat, but I need to give it a try for myself.

Monster Hunter Wilds releases Feb. 28th, so presumably that might be another RPG competitor in the same timeframe.

I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife
Even without all the drama my vote would still go to KCD2.

Avowed doesn't seem to do anything special, feels to me like it's more of the same of what we had in Outer Worlds but in the POE setting.

Meanwhile there's no modern game that compares to KCD when it comes to immersion, attention to detail and role-playing. The monastery quest alone in that game puts many so called "rpg"s like Skyrim or The Witcher 3 to shame.

KCD2 but subject to 60fps on PS5 Pro. Avowed is a no at this time due to 30fps only, even though I have GPU.

Unless reviews go south, Avowed first then KCD2. KCD1 came in quite janky initially and took a while to patch. So far footage of Avowed's starting area is polished. I'm more excited for fantasy RPG than sim-RPG also. KDC is a particular experience and mind set.

30fps only on console means I'll wait until next gen (or eventually switching to PC) to play either of these.

As for which one will do better, I think Kindgom Come. Seems like a more unique experience with more appealing visuals and the original game has build a decently sized fanbase over the years.

Avowed. Although that depends on the reviews and whether or not it is free of lecturers like the latest dragon age was.

As for kcd 2, I couldn't get in kcd and as such I doubt I will be able to get into kcd 2. Plus I prefer fantasy rpg to sim medival rpg.

none of them.

I haven't played the first KCD and while I'm interested in Avowed, recent news made my stance change to wait and see. There's the new MH, Atelier and Tales of Graces f near each other to keep me preoccupied.

Nature is truly healing.

In answer to your question, Kingdom Come will be my priority, but nothing for now. I'm honestly just way too busy as of late, but I can't wait to play it at some point.

the first Kingdom Come was just dooooooogshit.

at least Avowed will probably be a competently designed game that plays well... while Kingdom Come has to evolve a lot compared to the first one to get to that level.

Neogaf is not representative of anything in this business

AC shadows will likely have more sales than Avowed + KCD2 combined. Only Monster Hunter wilds will just eclipse everything.
