Also, I bought the VIP and that special quest is just dumb. I'm almost done maxing everything in my box...
I know this is just to tease up the Union [cross] update but it almost sounds like they might release this part of it sooner.
And damn, never mind that... give us some new story quests already. Or at least a raid event, I've had nothing to do for nearly two weeks now.

With multiplayer coming, I think I want to join one of your guys' parties, since the one I'm in only has 3 active players. To that end, is there any benefit to being in Vulpes or any other specific union? I haven't paid too much attention to the rewards, but I think most of them are just for solo and party rankings within a union, not the union itself.

Vulpes is pretty much the hardest union to get high in the rankings. Unicornis isn't far off, but isn't too bad. You'll want to switch to Ursus or Anguis for an easier shot at solo/party rankings.
At the end, it doesn't matter too much if you aren't big into rankings.

If the pulls for this game were $5 a pop, I'd pull like crazy.
But 15$ once a week, is too rich for my skin. lol
4 pulls and I could have just bought a new game.
This is my logic with most gacha games. I won't spend more than $80cdn on a game. That's pretty much retail price. No LE or CE is worth more than that either.

Does anyone know what the Player rank is and how to increase it? Not like weekly player or colosseum rank, but the rank next to your shared medal when viewing your party? Because I was Rank A a while ago and now I'm Rank D and I'm wondering how to increase it again.

Guilting it is only worth it if you are doing proud mode since some have a guilt % requirement. It does fixed damage regardless of defense so it's whether that damage is increased by guilting it or not.
Question is whether those avatars are paid or part of that anniversary quest?
My question is: So you get the 3-pipped guaranteed iKairi II after those first pulls. If you do that many more pulls, do you get another 3 pipped IKairi II, or does the 3-pip guarantee only apply to the first one you get?
I think I'd rather get the one 3-pip guarantee and then save the rest of my jewels for other banners that may show up during the 1-month event....but I'm not sure. I'll flip-flop 10 times between now and when I download the update.

I just saw this. So happy!!!
I have 3k jewels, and we will be getting 6k jewels for free.
I am at quest 400 atm. So if I do every single quest I should get about 6k more jewels which means I will for sure be able to barely get an ill Kairi. lol
Very glad I started saving up last minute.
(also in like 9 days, is my 100th day login, so I get 500 jewels for that too)

Feel like almost everyone should be able to get Illustrated Kairi 2 . Since everyone gets 2 free pulls. 500 jewels every 5 days from daily login ins. Plus they might have an event that gives out even more jewels.
Worst case scenario for most people is they buy VIP 1 maybeee 2 times.

guilt does increase fixed damage, i believe she does max 32k? but you realistically want her for all the buffs/heals/gauges. guilting is a bonus.

If you pull her before you hit the mercy (pull 5), the counter resets. If you hit 5 pulls, you get a guaranteed one and the counter resets. You can pull 5 more times and get another one.

Those were the only 2 tier 5's I didn't get from the last pull.

For me, it's not even the amount itself that annoys me, it's mostly that I don't feel I get what that money is worth. As the user before you said, 10+ for a single pull is absurd, so I simply won't ever pull and just rely on the free stuff (for which the JP version is way better)-

Isn't Cross just the typical way X is read when it's by itself in a Japanese title? Ex: Namco Cross Capcom, Project Cross Zone, ect... Heck, it's even what they call the X button on controllers, iirc.
The weird thing is that it is written Union χ rather than Union X. Don't understand that one.
I'm pretty sure it's because that is the greek letter for chi. which can represent "In Plato's Timaeus, it is explained that the two bands that form the soul of the world cross each other like the letter Χ" that sounds pretty kingdom heartsy to me.
so if we go off the title we could infer that this season will be focused on the unions coming together for something
