Resident Crybaby
- $20. Visual upgrades + New "Star-Crossed Worlds" content. 12 new levels
- Doubles the framerate over the Switch 1 version
- Switch 1 ran at 30fps with some drops. Switch 2 runs at an almost completely locked 60fps
- On Switch 1, distant enemies rendered at 15fps. On Switch 2, distant enemies render at 30fps
- Switch 2 version adds SMAA, whereas as the Switch 1 version had no AA implementation. Result is less aliased picture, but still has some rough spots
- Docked is 1440p dynamic. Resolution ranges between 864p-1440p vs original Switch's 810p-1080p range
- Handheld is 1080p dynamic. Resolution ranges between 610p-1080p in handheld
- Assets/textures/pop-in/lod remain untouched in original stages
- Texturing filtering is improved, causing less blur on the floor at tight angles
- Dynamic shadow quality is increased on Switch 2
- Starry stages add extra layers of complexity over the original levels, making extensive use of screenspace reflections, mirroring just about everything in sight
- Worthwhile Switch 2 edition, but HAL played it pretty safe with the improvements. Not on par with BotW or TotK in scope, but this is still the definitive way to play the game
