Apparently, people have picked it up with other games, like Zombi U.

Bloody, bloody tempting, I have to say. Seeing as the RRP for just the console is NZ$570, you are basically getting a NZ$150 reduction on the thing a month after launch.

I feel you, man. It happened to me with the original Xbox. Bought it at launch with Halo and JSRF and like a month later they dropped the price and had that bundle with Halo, JSRF, Sega GT and the remote for like $100 less than I paid for the console alone. I remember writing Microsoft a snotty email and they were like "These things happen." 😒

Will definitely add you if I can convince the missus that our household should take the plunge.

For what its worth I think the console itself is pretty neat and has a ton of potential, just needs some more games or a WiiU Virtual Console before I start putting some real time and money into it, sporadically playing AC3 on it at the moment in between bouts of Far Cry 3 on PS3 and Planetside 2.

Yeah, a friend who works at Dickies said it ended yesterday with their mailer. Was pretty gutted. I suppose a similar deal will happen in the future, though.
