The tension continues. I ordered with my brother (BarneyBP) early on the morning of the 24th. I really really don't want to have to camp again. This better come through.
 
Hmm, I thought my order was cancelled (one CS guy told me that a few days ago even though it's still in progress on the site)...

Anyways, I called today and the lady said they'll fill the orders they can and cancel the rest this week. I've pretty much given up checking stores at this point so hopefully I get one :(
 
I still haven't received anything, and how exactly do you get a response that isn't automated from these people? It's been over a week now, if they're going to cancel them, cancel them already!
 
Just got off the phone with K-Mart. Basically they said they had been told to expect their first 360 shipment on Monday or Tuesday but that the Microsoft shipment never materialized. You're always free to cancel your order, but if you're "in processing" its because they expect they will be able to fulfill your order as soon as Microsoft gets its fucking act together.
 
Thanks for calling, everyone. Maybe the '72 hours' I was quoted yesterday (which wasn't an automated response, at least the second time) means that there's a decent chance they'll ship on Monday.

Yeah, we are to believe KMart is still waiting on its first shipment from Microsoft. That I know of no brick and mortar K Marts to receive 360 consoles (though some apparently have games and controllers on the shelves), seems to confirm we're all in limbo.

The K-Mart up the hill from my house (in Latham, NY near Albany), got about 8 Xbox 360's in on launch day. I didn't go there, but later that day at Walmart I got the info from some woman who did. She got a core there and was at Walmart buying accessories.
 
No changes here. I will probably give them until Friday and then cancel. This order was kind of predicated on my ability to sell the thing on eBay for a tidy profit, but if I can't get it by Christmas then there's not much point in holding on to the order.
 
Sorry for the dumb question but where do I cancel my order? I'm tired of waiting and I didn't pay premium shipping to get a Retard Pack almost a month after my order.

My order shipped today, a mere 6-7 weeks after it was place on the 24th of November :lol So if you just gave up on your order and bought from somewhere else, make sure to cancel. I'd forgotten all about it until an "Order Shipped" email showed up in my inbox.

I don't really want the 360 anymore, but I guess I can just sell it on eBay or return it to a local Kmart. Charges still haven't shown up on my credit card, so I'm hoping that their whole e-distribution system is so fucked up that they forgot to charge me at all (perhaps thinking I'd already been charged weeks ago).
 
I'm still 360less. If any of you out there got late duplicates (premium packs) from Kmart, PM me and maybe we can work something out.
 
FedEx dropped off the package today, and low and behold it contains the Premium system (the early version with remote control included).....and an invoice for the Core System that I ordered.($299 + tax).

To top it all off, I've checked my recent bank records and Kmart still hasn't charged anything to my check card.....perhaps they thought they'd already charged me in November (time to re-check November bank statement). How long do you think it'll be before I'm in the clear?

Anyhow, the best case scenario is that I just got the Xbox 360 Premium for free.
Worst case scenario is that I just got the Xbox 360 Premium for $330 shipped.

Three cheers for K-Mart's totally fucked up e-commerce division! Chapter 11 was never so much fun....
 
I got mine on Mon. but didn't even accept it. They also charged me in Nov., then removed the charge, and now its back. So hopefully they get it back soon and credit me back my money.
 
oh man, I'm glad I never got lured into trying the Kmart link back when I was 360. I would be royally pissed if they charged my card again and shipped out something I had explicitly cancelled, especially since I wouldn't even be home to reject it. Good luck sorting out this mess guys.
 
I was pissed about my old core order being shipped (after receiving a cancellation confirmation email more than a month ago) until I too opened up the box to a premium system. Can't beat a $100+ profit (I was charged).
 
Yeah, I hit the ATM again and it looks like they remembered to charge me today :lol

Still, a Premium system for $330 is probably a better deal than anyone else has gotten...
