Compared to Hair? Yes. Pop masterpiece. lol
Haha, anything's good compared to Hair. This is merely a decent dance track.
Hyperbole on overdrive in this thread :P

The Edge of Glory > Judas > Hair > Born This way > Marry the Night

Disappointing album so far.

Switch around Hair and Born this Way, and that's how I feel about the new songs. The Edge of Glory and Judas are great, but still not quite up there with her best material from The Fame Monster.

Whoooooo, Marry the Night is a big step in the right direction.

Marry the Night = Fame Monster >> Judas > Born This Way >>>>> Hair >>>>> Edge of Glory

Hell yeah, I finally heard Marry The Night! I hope Gaga releases the instrumental at some point, 'cause that shit is hot. BRB, need to listen 300 more times.

You're my inspiration.

Marry the night is the only one i'm not really feeling so far

Judas > Edge = Hair > BTW >> Marry

edit also:
The Fame >> The Fame Monster

Holy shit. Marry the Night is incredible! Hope redeemed!

My biggest problem with a lot of the songs coming out from this CD is that, like Dance in the Dark, they seem to have so much electronic/techno/dance garbage going on that unless you're listening through good speakers (not sure if this actually helps), it just sounds like a complete mess. And even then, it still does.

Loving Marry The Night!

This album is pretty good for me so far. Born This Way has grown on me, love Edge of Glory and Judas and now Marry the Night. Hair is about the only one I am not too giddy about, but I like the beginning of it(but the last two thirds, the song falls apart).

Thanks for delivering my summer anthems, Gaga!

Album redeemed! I really have not liked many of the new songs on the album but Marry the Night is probably the first song that I have liked.

Marry the Night>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Judas>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Born This Way>>>The Edge of Glory>Hair

This is pretty fucking excited if I've calculated right.

(Time till Born This Way will inevitably leak following Metro.co.uk stream)

I love all five of them. Pretty much equally. Sue me.

I have a feeling I'm gonna like this album :P

You're definitely the most enthusiastic out of all of us, and I've been a fan of Gaga since The Fame era. >_>

Monster took her above and beyond and really put her on the map for me though.

I am not a fan of Edge of Glory. Hair grows on me slowly. Born This Way and Judas, although initially met with harsh skepticism, are some of my favourite tracks from her thus far now, which is nice. Marry The Night sealed the deal.

I can definitely appreciate how this album doesn't really have a distinct sound or feel, it's all over the place.

Yeah, it makes listening to a new single off of it for the first time completely exciting.

I think Hair and Marry the Night are both just okay, but I have a feeling MTN will grow on me.

Hair is growing on me too
lawl
, and I've loved the other songs, so this album is on the right track for me to be quite honest.

Every song (sans Judas) has been such a curve ball though. It's totally nothing anyone would have expected coming from Gaga. Here's an artist defined by modern electropop and suddenly she dipped into 80-90s anthemic/ballad sounds. If you ignore her consistent shock image persona, you could easily mistake her for an entirely different artist.

Someone recorded parts of the album while it was being played in HMV http://almosttoogaytofunction.tumblr.com/post/5581293482
um, why is no one freaking out about this?

Edit: Highway Unicorn sounds hot.

I dunno, I definitely feel that these new tracks are more cohesive than TFM. They all have either a dark industrial type of sound (Marry the Night/Judas) or a euphoric, anthemic sound (Born This Way/Edge of Glory) or a mix of the two (Hair).

Highway Unicorn sounds amazing. I can't wait for this album, I obviously pre ordered it from amazon, but I feel like it's going to leak any second since it's now out in the wild.
