The results I read from someone at the show made it sound like Storm even being on Heat was pretty much just for the Canadian audience in attendance. Jericho also had a match before the tapings, and even mentioned storm off camera to get the crowd riled up before the highlight reel.
But yeah, I don't get why Storm didn't come out and save Benoit, especially when it would have made sense given that he's going to be at ECW One Night Stand. Dumb moves like this are pretty much what I expect from the WWE anyway.
BTW, I read today that the WGN deal with TNA may have fell through, leaving them with nothing but PPVs.
