Damn I remember being interested in this and looking for gameplay, I felt bad.

I feel like I'll give this a chance one day but not when I'm as busy as I am now. Also if I can get it for a bit cheaper.

This guy absolutely ripped apart this game.
I was somewhat interested initially but after reading his review I'm staying far away from this.
Maybe when it hits rock bottom price I might give it a go, but it really seems like a poorly thought out game. Sorry to bring the mood of the thread down for anyone excited for it.

I'm really gutted that this game is so bad. I really, really wanted a new Langrisser to be good, since it seems like CareerSoft isn't doing anything but SMT work for Atlus anymore (not that I have a problem with that). I wonder if they really had a hand in this travesty, I've seen them credited some places.

Oh well. I guess it was better Langrisser stay dead. Hopefully no one decides to exhume the corpse of Growlanser anytime soon.

I saw the Langrisser title and got so excited, but now that I see what the game is, I am both happy I didn't buy it on impulse but also saddened by what this has become.

The first game in the series to be officially localized into English since Warsong (Langrisser 1). Ah, the irony.

...Will still get it one day. Just not right now. Between Stella Glow, Mercenaries Saga 2 and new Fire Emblem, I doubt anybody is really desperate for new handheld SRPGs right now.

I mean, a lot of the other characters look fine, some of them actually sporting some cool combat armor. So why are the kids the ones in their underwear?
