I haven't read a single Green Lantern comic or watched the movie but I really liked the trailer. Glad to see Kyle Chandler.

It might be good, but that's not a Lantern show. Only glimpse of the costume and he is in a cupboard, no construct too.

I did like that last line from Hal but even as a huge DC comic collector I just can do it anymore with these superhero shows.

This isn't CW, that tweet was trying to be funny.
CW is currently experiencing a death rattle similar to Spike TV and old G4 in their final years before they shut down, which means reruns of old popular shows that were sunset from other networks years ago, for cheap viewership numbers.

Not sure on the tone, comes off as a bit cheap feeling too. Unless they are hiding the green effects somewhere and action, highly possible. Obviously it's only a trailer, but if they really don't show a lot of the comical powers, it's just a Tango and Cash show. Which might still be good.

Plenty of material to use for Hal. For now we know he's training John. Unsure if for a specific task or just fresh into the corps.
John does get injected by something yellow in the trailer and is likely why he says that mean stuff to Hal. Has to learn to fight fear like Hal.

I like the look of it... but the whole show must keep that serious tone. They keep throwing around true detective, that sets big expectations for the show.
If it turns into the boys juvenile stuff and cartoonish then it's gonna be hot steaming shit.

I do hope they were just holding back on the effects since it's a teaser.
But the fact he has a physical uniform rather than a construct and then when he took off flying it just looked normal, no costume change or even green glow.
Though at least they acknowledged other non-human lanterns.

They were being cheeky, sarcastic, and fun throughout the entire interview. Even the questions and answers about the other shows he worked on were ridiculous or dumb on purpose.

I don't know, the tone of this is just all over the place. I would try to be optimistic, but the last thing we need right now is a doomer Hal Jordan with a cocky better-than-you replacement without receipts. Add to the fact that it looks like they are going to 'correct' the town and also treat the Lantern Corps as an unserious collective of weirdos, this is just throwing all kinds of red flags to me. I'd like to be wrong, but I'm going to trust my gut and keep the expectations at rock bottom. By the way, you don't have to fucking cuss at every fucking moment to appear more fucking serious and fucking adult.
