We got hit by a cat 5 a couple years back.
This is a video of the gusts we were still getting about 6 hours after it passed.

Luckily the only fatality was a guy that was dumb enough to run his generator in an enclosed area... suffocated...

Typhoon, Cyclones, and Huricanes are the same thing but different regions.

Horrible-looking storm, though. Its definitely not the biggest ever, though. We've had East Coast storms in the US just recently that were surely as big, or bigger(although far less powerful, too).

Anyways, this is a Cat 4 hurricane, about to make landfall. Anyway you cut it, that's a recipe for some major worrying. Fingers crossed for the best, but its not exactly hitting the most developed of regions, right? Never good.
