Last Episode of Tough Crowd On Right Now

Is anyone watching this? I've been a big fan since day one, and I'm pretty bummed to see it go. Any word why it got the axe. Were ratings really that bad? Did the show really bother that many people? I may not agree with 90% of what is said, but at least everyone is honest and not a total idiot (okay, that's debatable). But still!

Aww man I didn't know....thanks for telling me. I remember being kind of turned off by the show at first, but it grew on me. When the chemistry between the 'panel' or whatever is right and it's not totally comprised of idiots, it can be pretty entertaining. And I like the conversational, semi-non-scripted nature of the show.

Eh, I don't watch a lot of tv nowadays, and it's one of those shows that I'll watch a few times a week. I'll miss it.

Was this its first season or second? I can't remember...

Good riddance.

Their political discussions were just racist ramblings half of the time. And the comedy fell flat most of the time. Totally worthless.

Your choice in favorite television shows confuses and concerns me. Colin Quinn is about as funny as a wooden plank.

Everytime I seem to be enjoying a some dialogue, or the show starts to get rythim, Colin usually steps in and tries to say something, and just kills the mood. He is horrible, and hopefully never, ever gets a show again.

I remember an episode that had Chuck D on it. The only thing he said the entire time, the one thing he said, was "Hey" at the very beginning.

Nothing more.

Screw Tough Crowd.

The show wouls be fine without Colin Quinn
I agree. They should make this show and put someone like Bill Mahar in the hosting position.

I seem to recall an episode in which Colin Quinn was joined by other people on the show......four, I believe. And they did the majority of the talking. That one was pretty funny.

Bill Maher actually made fun of comedy central back when they had that 13th year special thing saying tough crowd = politically incorrect, except it's only comics on tough crowd.

i liked the show, not really colin quinn (who could?) but as long as the other comics spoke it was pretty damn funny. i did notice though that whenever he had somebody who was actually a relatively big name in hollywood, colin would never, ever, ever let them speak much (that or they were like "why did i sign up for this again?" and just felt compelled not to speak).

I read a month or so back that they only retained half of the Daily Show audience, and Comedy Central wants to find something that will do better.

amen to that....It was funny for a bit but after a while whitey keeping the black man down, homosexual comics reminding us that "Hey I'm gay/lesbian" gets really old. 98% of the female comics just SUCKED, and yes we know O and A are on XM radio...thank you

i liked it when they had the regulars on. Those guys didn't try to get into any kind of politial discussion but instead just ragged on eachother. Any episode where they rip on Rich Voss was hilarious IMO.

...and the crowd is going mild. Sad thing is, Quinn will probably get another show. He must give good head. PEACE.
