Last Night in Soho - Teaser Trailer

Looked like a Black Swan type of thing at first. That lizard girl sure is getting a lot of work these days.

Looks interesting. I only recently saw Baby Driver and thought it was excellent - I remember there was a good buzz around it but got the wind thoroughly knocked out of it when everything came out about Kevin Spacey.

Edit: I mentioned Baby Driver specifically because it really showed he could do more than horror comedy/action comedy.

Looks great. Baby Driver wasn't 100% successful for me but the creativity goes a long way.

Looks very Mario Bava inspired, more so than strictly Giallo which is the line I've read from a few other places.

Wright's a talented film-maker, and this looks like a passion project for him, looking forward to it. Although as per usual the current state of gender/social politics kinda leaves anything harkening back to the 60's or 70's time-period particular styles and cinematic idioms hamstrung and toothless. At least not in the mainstream anyway.

Great stuff, I'll watch anything Wright puts out.

Looks awful, but i'll have to give it a watch based on it's shooting location, thanks. I think Anya Taylor-Joy is a great actress too.

Finally saw this last night and loved every minute of it. Edgar Wright continues to prove that he is a master at his craft. However, I must admit that I am a bit biased because Wright has been my favorite director for like 15 years now lol...

Edit: Having said that, as far as "psychological horrors" go, it's actually only the second-best I've seen this year... best 2021 psychological horror is Saint Maud, IMO.

i saw it yesterday and enjoyed it but wasn't as good as i hoped. the ending was predictable and it felt like it wasn't really going anywhere. the amount of praise it got hyped me up i guess. i'm not shitting on it. it's great movie but i left a bit disappointed (and heard someone say it was "a load of shit" as i was leaving). definitely not Edgar's best work. Nothing will top Shaun of the dead but I'd say Baby Driver is better than this. That all said...i do want to watch it again! maybe i'll warm up a bit with a couple more watches. also, i've always wanted to go to London but never got around to it. now i will definitely be going as soon as posssible.
