Last of Us Patch Adds More Pro Support / Restores Supersampling

Hello everyone!
We've just launched a new update for The Last of Us Remastered and The Last of Us Remastered: Left Behind that introduces expanded display settings for players using a PlayStation 4 Pro system. Starting today, PS4 Pro players will be able to select from new menu options and presets that provide additional configurations for resolution, framerate, and shadow quality. These new display settings options offer greater flexibility to PS4 Pro players connected to a 4K display, as well as traditional HD displays through supersampling. Additionally, today's patches resolve bugs and exploits identified in Factions Multiplayer.

General:
Modified PlayStation®4 Pro enhancements settings
Added user options related to the PlayStation®4 Pro enhancement settings
Multiplayer:
Fixed an issue that could cause a player to aim downward inadvertently
Fixed an exploit where players could throw a smoke bomb to get inside of level collision
 
That's something nice to see after all the ruckus, but ND should've communicated they were working on this so that people would chill.
Also expecting GearFourth's hot take any minute now.

ND just waiting it out cause it's coming system wide and now bringing it surprisingly back so long after the deletion cause it's not coming anymore.

Well, too bad, Xbox One X will have it and it's one of the biggest reasons why I'm switching my main console in November.

I have another one.
Downsampling back to TLOU because now developers only have tu push a button for it.
 
Obviously the new settings are the big news, but I'm very happy reading about the downward aiming bug in Factions, I really thought I was just a complete idiot sometimes
 
Hopefully this means UC4 gets a better Pro patch in the future, though I'm still doubtful since Lost Legacy didn't come with any extra Pro features.
 
I can finally buy TLOU remastered. Was gonna get it last year, but after hearing they removed the super-sampling for 1080p, I passed on it so fast.

Yeah, probably not. That they went with straightforward 1440p probably suggests ND's engine doesn't play especially nice with CBR, at least without significant tweaks to one or both. I think we'll see a significantly improved Pro implementation with TLOU2.

Because i read it in an official document.

What official document? We're gonna need some sauces.
