I am so glad to see there are some Proud Family fans here on this forum. Normally when this show is brought it's always someone just pointing out it as racist and stereotypical. I love this show, been watching it for years now. Out of all the cartoons I've seen that are about black people(rare!) this, and "C-bear and Jamal"(remember that?) are the best I've ever seen. I was never a big fan of PJ's.
Gotta ask though to all the people out there saying this kind of stuff, what's so racist/stereotypical about the show? Even better, please explain to me how a good pc cartoon featuring blacks should be? When I watch the show all I see is a funny, eccentric, down to earth black family not too much different than my own actually. Show me an episode where Oscar is smoking crack and beating Trudy and Penny is waiting for her baby daddy to roll by on an undersized BMX bike with some diapers and milk, then we can talk about stereotypes.
and for the record, even though that EZ Jackster ep was some pretty lame propaganda, I still thought it was a pretty entertaining ep, one of my all-time favorites.
