Seems like Perry White's got himself a tan now

Interesting casting nonetheless.

Lois Lane and Clark Kent just got their boss: Laurence Fishburne will play Daily Planet editor-in-chief Perry White in Man of Steel, EW has learned exclusively. White has traditionally been a hard-charging, old fashioned newspaperman, who relies on his ace reporters, Clark and Lois, to get the big scoop.

It's already guaranteed that with Zack Snyder at the helm, this movie will have some decent action scenes.

Cast is also looking good so far.

I have faith, I actually like Snyder's work.

Does this mean Montana Fisburne will play Lois in the XXX remake?

lol. I wouldnt mind seeing more of her. Other than those marks on her ass, I thought she looked pretty good before TBH.

Between this and the new "Spiderman" news I can't help but feel white people are being mistreated in the name of "diversity." Spiderman is white. Perry White is white. Nick Fury is white. Always has always win; pretending otherwise is basically discrimination, telling long standing fans "sorry, your race is no longer the in-thing."

What if I made a film about Martin Luther King and he was played by Paul Walker?

Good

Something something content of character.

No the fuck he's not.

I think what Phenoix Dark is trying to say ( excluding the ML and PW scenario) is why not remain true to the original , why these variations?!

edit: or he could be trolling :P

You know, I can see what PD is saying, but then I also think the best actor to portray the character and not the character design should be cast.

With Spider-Man, I'm pretty much flabbergasted that they could replace Parker in the name of 'diversity'. With Perry White, whose never really had an iconic image, but is more identifiable in how he acts, I have no problem.
