Detective Benson joins the prostitute's softball team, then hits a game-winning home run, knowing the prostitute will give her a celebratory cameltoe five (the female equivalent of a pat on the butt). Her plan works, and in addition to getting enough forensic evidence for a conviction, Benson is instantly impregnated.

Yup.

They'll arrest some dudes who were huge assholes online, scare them shitless in the police station and everyone will be sure it was them cause they're huge assholes, but then maybe during trial one of them will mention something and then the detectives will be lead to the victim's brother, sister, co-worker or boyfriend who was actually behind it all the whole time and was angry and bitter at her for something.

No episode is striaghtforward there's always a plotwist.

Sometimes it's that, but other times they actually do get the guy early on and spend the rest of the episode wrangling with some legal quandary in court.

I stopped watching SVU a couple years back but I'll have to tune into this.

Off topic but did South Park ever do a Gamergate episode?

Same. It was okay for a little while after Stabler left in my opinion, but in one of the more recent seasons they basically added all the shit I don't like about other cop shows. I liked how relatively subtle L&O always was: never using flashbacks, not a whole lot of music, etc. The whole show is supposed to be from the perspective of the people investigating the crime, and never actually show the crime happen. I feel like it lost something big when it actually did that.
