League of Legends Championship Series: Season 6

Unfortunately it's at the Chicago Theater, which has like 3k seats...

Not holding my breath, but I'll try.

Seems like every worlds after the awesome Sangam Stadium just keeps getting a smaller stage.

Staples Centre again? It's like relegating ourselves to a shitty size like the Key Arena.

Gonna see LCS live for the first time in the LCS studio this weekend! Haven't seen any League action live since LMQ vs TSM at PAX Prime 2014 so I'm excited! Especially since I'll be able to cheer on Cloud 9 against TSM :D

35 minutes

death timers long enough to push from literal allied nexus, against full waves of super minions streaming down mid, and end the game in a reverse push

why riot

this is why we rarely see action packed games. when we get the odd one here or there, it's a huge treat

Let's see if I can turn around my fantasy this week. 2 heartbreakers, losing by less than 10 points. I have the 2nd highest total points, yet sit 2-3. So unlucky.

Hopefully Trick and UOL can turn me around. I'm done with Shook, Cloud 9, and their bullshit.

I'm #1 in total points in my league and in 2nd place. 1st is undefeated and beat me in Week 1 by 1.6 points (thanks, Pobelter)

SKT seriously got 2-0'd by Longzhou. Bengi playing a super mediocre Udyr both games. Team's got little to no future, and the past they're clinging to is even starting to look tenuous. #ROX2016

I'm all for Korea not having a super strong unbeatable team (Rox looks it could be tho) More parity at worlds would be awesome.

Still it's only spring. SKT has plenty of time to get to their level.

I wonder just how much we'll see Gragas this week. That AoE on W makes his clear really good and I didn't think it was particularly bad before the buff.

The problem is more that their plan for the future is falling apart. They knew they needed to replace Bengi (which is correct), but Blank is a non-starter and looks like he's going to be quietly shuffled off without any more serious consideration. They know they need a replacement trained up for Faker, but they're going to have to continue starting Faker most/all games just to get their win/loss record up to "not really Worlds caliber".

The thing they need to do is write off this season as a wash and completely reorganize, but my prediction is they keep trying to salvage it, fail to do so, and mortgage the next season's chance of recovery in the process. I wouldn't be surprised if Bang is no longer dominant in role by the time they finally get their shit together, putting them on just a recursive spiral of never quite having a full team of top-shelf talent again.

Though, I could be wrong. Maybe if they botch Spring bad enough they end up cleaning house for Summer.

Elements played better than expected, and Origen played kind of how I've come to expect them to play. Watching this game, it isn't exactly strange that Origen has a very poor record against the teams that are much better at closing out the game.

Yeah that game was more Soraka than Kog. He was literally standing in the middle of both fights and his hp bar raising every second.

Atom definitely shouldn't have finished that TP. I don't know if UoL could've finished the collapse, but the gravity field basically ensured he would be CC chained. I'm not sure what Betongjocke is doing with some of these barrels.

I could watch a fight between Nautilus and Maokai for hours. Because that's how long it would take for one to die.

Edit: Welp, Kog'Maw is definitely stupid this patch.

What is the number on the baron overlay that jumps around like -50, -170, -400 etc

Gold advantage generated during the period of the baron buff. LCS is experimenting with more stats to excite the sabermetricians lurking among the audience.

That was just a horrible close out by G2. Dying at baron, not locking down and bursting Kog'Maw, no TP flanks, no vision control, no pink wards, nothing. They got overconfident, Koggy's build came online, and they got punished for it.

They deserved to lose tbh
