I'm really curious how the contrast between "real" people and "fake" orcs will be. The humans in Warcraft are cartoonish in proportion. The males are ridiculously big and bulky. The orcs are the same way. But in the movie, there's gonna be just the giant orcs with real people. Mixing the two is going to be weird to me.
Obviously it's going to be silly to make any strong remarks based on how it looks through this teaser, but I have high hopes for it purely for the sake of Blizzard being able to clarify the events in Warcraft: Orcs & Humans and Duncan Jones. There are a few things that will stand out for me:
- It's going to be amazing seeing Stormwind in its aesthetic "height."
- I hope they show Medivh since he was friends with Anduin Lothar.
- Garona is in the movie which will be interesting to see at a multi-racial level but I am expecting camp attitudes with rose petals & champagne.
- It'd be really awesome if they delve in to the past Arathi history & Stromgarde since it establishes how the humans gained a foothold of dominance squeezed by areas controlled by High Elves and Dwarves.
- Orgrim Doomhammer. Warlords of Draenor left a bad taste in the mouth for such a highly respected character.
- Blackrock motherfucking Mountain. We've been running/flying past the statue of Lothar for far too long to not see how epic this shit is going to be.
- The demise of Durotan and after effects of baby Jesus.
The bulk of the humans comes from the armour itself. You know shit is cray-cray when even Rogues wearing leather are running around looking like NFL center guards.

I think they moved from March because of Batman vs Superman.
Plus you just know that after this, if it's succesful, we're going to get a Thrall movie. And a movie where Thrall saves the day at the end. Also one with Thrall. Thrall.

The thing about trailers is that the director rarely has any say about them, not unless they're also a producer, which isn't the case here.

You really didn't miss much. The quality was absolutely horrid. It was off-screen, blurry as hell, covered in watermarks, and people were talking over it. Looked like a Lord of the Rings sequel... which makes sense, given the source material.
I wish they would get at least a proper teaser out already. I absolutely hate looking at off-screen shit quality garbled mess clips of this movie. It looks like shit as a result and people are right to comment that it looks like shit when it's all they're given.
Also I really want to hear the OST to this movie because I really like the Warcraft series soundtracks. WoW in particular. I'm not super familiar with Ramin Djawadi's work aside from GoT, but I do like the Stannis' theme from that show.
