Legitimately good songs that have gotten radio popular in the last decade

I almost feel old for thinking of Bad Romance on seeing the thread title. Does that get played on the radio anymore?

they're probably all chvrches songs
Then again, if being old means I can see through the blandness that is Chvrches, I'm happy to be ancient.

Gotye - Somebody That I Used to Know

It gets hated on because radios overplayed it, but it's a modern pop classic.

Yeah, no. Chvrches is the white, bland, flavorless gruel of pop music. I *should* like them for being "synthpop" or something (much more of a rock fan, generally, chillwave and dreampop are a hit w/me) but honestly I'd rather listen to Rihanna or Kanye than fucking Chvrches.

White people making non-threating pop can fuck off to the 80s.

Talk about a performer disappearing...The song came out in 2011 and was a major hit for almost 2 years, then nothing. Even his Wikipedia page doesn't say anything about him after 2013.

Some of the modern stuff you guys probably hate will be looked at favorably in ten years time.

Closer by Chainsmokers is a legitimately good song.

Outkast is real good in my opinion, I just thought that guy struck me as someone who also thought Outkast was good. I know a guy in real life who likes Outkast but despises Uptown Funk.

I fail to see how these two things should be someone tied together. I'm really not understanding how out of all the things you could compare to Uptown Funk you picked OutKast.

Slayer - Raining Blood

It's "Reign in Blood"

Outkast protope is my favourite song of that album. Not played enough.

I also like King Kunta as the best hip hop song of the last ten years.

Crazy was a pretty good song.

If we're talking Top 40, Get Lucky is the last I can think of. It got played out, hated taking requests, and I was sick of that fuckin song by the end, but it was still a great track.
