So are the people still saying SIE had no leverage/decision in platforms for LEGO Horizon, gonna keep saying that in light of this?

dude the only/best example is from 10+ years ago and a completely different generation (plus who knows what Nintendo was willing to spend to get those exclusive?)

not to mention coming off the Wii & NDS, Nintendo probably had a lot of sway, it's entirely possible that because of getting burned on those games (due to the 3DS and Wii U not being nearly as successful as their predecessors) might have something to do with why Lego hasn't done an exclusive since?

I'll give you the second part; maybe Wii U specifically (3DS was successful, just more like PSP levels success and not DS levels success) being a dud is what convinced LEGO to not do exclusives anymore. But then that's contradicted by the fact that, if Nintendo paid for exclusivity, it shouldn't matter to LEGO if those exclusives didn't do well? They already got their money right?
Oh and there's now this:
What is this decision? Why does this game not have cross-play? It's not even a competitive game. Local 2-player co-op is cool (and expected), but no cross-play is weird.
Seems like no cross-play even between PS5 and PC; none with Switch could at least be explained by Nintendo being Nintendo.

also while I agree no cross-play is a weird decision, as far as I can tell the ONLY Lego game to ever have cross-play is Lego Fortnite

- Two modes on PS5: Fidelity (30FPS), Performance (60FPS)
- Roughly 7-8 hours long with 'elements of replayability'
- Up to 2-player online and couch co-op, but no crossplay
- Reshapes the story of 2017's Horizon Zero Dawn in ways that make it more appealing and appropriate for kids
- "Not a faithful retelling, and neither is it a parody"
- "We wanted to poke fun at the IP; we wanted to use all the self-referential humor that's characteristic of LEGO properties"
- Original cast from Horizon Zero Dawn returns, Aloy moves in a fun, quirky stop-motion style
- Aloy uses her bow for combat and exploration: Holding
lets her use her bow at targets, while R1 activates her focus to highlight major targets in blue - Unleash powerful attacks using the environment - shooting an arrow through a bonfire creates a flaming projectile, adding extra damage to enemies or setting grass, vines etc on fire to open new paths
- Shoot barrels and other objects to find Studs (LEGO currency). Chests are found exploring off the main path
- Aloy can discover special piles of bricks she can use to craft various designs like a sailboat, dog house, etc

- Blast Boost Upgrade: Jumping over an enemy will set them on fire
