Is that a snot piece combined with a regular size brick? That would be VERY handy indeed, as i hate having to manually balance height differences etc. with plates when building say a wall or whatever with certain snot elements hmmm

Yes, they are for the upcoming Mighty Micros subthemes. Short legs because they have to stand to fit in the vehicles.
I've been holding off buying the Spider-Man Juniors set, in the hopes that the MM Green Goblin would be the same (or better). Looks like I'm picking up another set on the 1st.

No. Two of those would be six plates high. The new element is five plates high, which is exactly two studs wide. The new combination is the same as placing that piece on top of a 2/3 plate with studs on the side, with the benefit of not having a piece sticking out the back. It also achieves the same thing as a regular bracket, with the benefit of not having the SNOT section stick out half a plate's depth.

Great faces (well, before having seen Catwoman without the mask) but I really do wish they were standard legs.
That's the one I can see myself getting, but who am I fooling I will probably get all of them.
I'm definitely curious to see the rest of them now.

I'll treat them as kids or just replace their legs. All the legs are solid colors without any printing so shouldn't be hard to find replacements. Are these sets $20 each for 2 vehicles and 2 minifigures?
It's surprising to me that the reaction to those minifigures is overwhelmingly negative. If the small legs are that big of an issue, it's not that hard to find replacement legs or just to swap the heads with one of the pre-existing minifigures of whatever character it is. I think the designs are pretty fantastic, personally, and they're a great change from the usual aesthetic.
Also, thank goodness for Lego. I'm pretty sure Lego is the only thing that gives me any joy these days.

Speaking of hamming it up and Spidey face variations, I hope LEGO does Spider-Ham someday. It could be a Spider-Ham and Howard the Duck set.
I think most negative reactions are because some saw those sets as a cheap way to get minifigs that were only available in more expensive sets. Green Goblin is in a $30 Juniors set that isn't appealing at all to most AFOLs.
Minifig Hulk goes for $20 or only available via key chain.
I mostly got it for parts pack and minifigs. It's the cheapest set to get that version of Vitruvius. The other set is Sea Cow. It's also the only set to have Lord Business with that head gear and armor. It also has those trans clear "toy army" stands. A bunch of unique minifigs although some like El Macho, Ma Cop, and Pa Cop are available on Bricklink for cheap.
For $40 it's a really good value. If you don't care about some of those minifigs, Selling Lord Business, Vitruvius, and BizNiz Kitty would pay for 1/2 the cost.

hope you got it. The big sets on AWD go really fast. Even if you didn't, get one anyways before they are gone. Such a glorious set to display.
I was in Target today and was hoping to find some of those new 2016 sets others are finding n Targets. No dice, nada, but I did get a couple polybags in the mini Morro Dragon and that TFA Tie Fighter. Also got my nephews some polybags to shove in some goodie boxes.
I also got some Walking Dead mcfarlane construction set blind bags. I lucked out and got a Daryl with poncho fig and a Morgan fig. Now I get what they are trying to do with this line but man are the figures janky. They are trying to be realistic but the lack of fine paint job on the faces and the lack of poseability at the expense of trying to be realistic is just not good in my opinion. Also they use a softer plastic so the limbs just don't fit quite right and kept falling off on me.

Had to go run an errand for work and only just now saw these responses and by the time I went to buy it, it was gone... Boo
I wasn't really aware that they usually go really fast since I just stumbled on it while browsing Amazon and saw that there was one up on AWD.
Oh well. I don't have the room to display it anyways, which was the main thing holding me back previously as well. That's the main thing stopping me from getting most sets these days. My Lego buying is gonna get crazy when I have my own house.

So looks like the Tumbler was moved to retiring soon on S@H. Just noticed when I was looking at new listings. I guess I have to make a decision real quick on if I really want that set or not.

Not a chance. They wouldn't release a set that huge just to kill it quickly.
Not 1, Not 2, BUT 3! different types of parts in a particular color have now been cleared out from bricklink in any decent number for this build now :0 And there's the potential for at least 3 other parts to be wiped clear in any number over 20 from any single seller. The first 3 I wiped the number down to no more than 3 pieces from any particular seller, one of them down to 6 pieces worldwide, on bricklink....1 seller left. It's too late.
And as if it was my destiny a Tumbler shows up on AWD for $160. Bought.
So there goes my money I was saving for GB HQ on the 1st. I might have to change my plans around a bit. Probably for the best I pick up the few stray larger sets i've been wanting first before GB HQ if it's safe to be around for awhile. I still have to get UCS Tie Figher, UCS Slave One and Temple of Airjitsu.

All are magnificent sets. Of the three, TIE is the least of the builds (even if I ranked it higher than Slave 1, but I admitted my bias for TIEs). Slave 1 is the oldest, so it should probably be priority.
But the Temple. The new Haunted House. Just sublime in every single way. My new gold standard for in print sets.
Yeah, just a hair over a year. Guess WB/DC wants it gone to help make room for a new Batmobile or something.
Cmon UCS 60s Batmobile! (We all know it will be BvS version probably).

Wouldn't say unexpected. More like lesser seen by people. I was in love with the Temple and Haunted House at first reveal. They looked like something really, really special. So obviously, my expectations were high. The fact that they surpassed my lofty expectations is why they are in the same league.
An unexpected gem would be something like the following: Quinjet 1.0, Silver Mine Shootout, Blue Power Jet, Unexpected Gathering.

You find room for the Sea Cow, its as simple as that. If somethings gotta go to make room, furniture, statue, pet, loved ones, whatever then it goes to make room for the Sea Cow.
That's what pushed me over the edge to go ahead and get it tonight. I hate to regret not getting it later and see a huge price tag on it. Most Superhero sets seems to have a a pretty good after market mark up on them, and this one was a UCS set with exclusive minifig, I believe exclusive parts in the tires and a short life span that was limited stock for the first couple months.
I'd imagine at the very least you'd get your money back, so I'd go ahead and do it.
And that Heath Ledger Joker figure is almost definitely never getting re-made, right? So that's a rare and popular item right there.

From my info it sold really bad outside of the first month. Which means there is either no demand at all and Prices won't skyrocket or everyone feels they still have a year to buy it. So no way to tell what's gonna happen with it. It can become the new town hall but modulars have greater overall appeal than a batmobile.
