Exactly. Going region free would give both 3DS and Wii U a good boost in popularity due to more games being sold.I would die for region free 3DS. So many games being missed out.

Your sacrifice would be greatly appreciated!
Made a post of this on a Dutch forum. Hopefully the news site associated with it will pick it up.
One guy on that forum posted this on MiiVerse (don't know if it has been posted already):
Seems like lurkers are helping out too. Shout out to you guys.
NEVER GIVE UP!!!
Any word from Nintendo yet?

I don't expect any news until the end of the month.
Even that is wildly optimistic.

Not yet, but I did my part and put a "region free" question in the USGamer queue for their interview with Nintendo higher ups on Thursday. Maybe we'll get lucky.
Even that is wildly optimistic.
Seeing how the Nintendo Investor Meeting is this week, we'll see if Nintendo says anything. Hopefully an investor asks.

Also wildly optimistic. Why would they care?
If they already see the demand on Miiverse and Twitter than it can help, they have announced tons of new info at Investor Meetings before, heck they even announced NSMB2 at an investor Meeting as well as Nintendo Network.
Because those are things investors might be interested in. Region lock is not a detail they care about.
You guys are better off petitioning for New Waluigi U bros or Nintendoland 2 with no online.
Nintendo does what Nintendo wants. And, you don't agree you better butt off!!! Thought you knew this from the SNES days.
There is NO WAY Nintendo will go region free. They don't even give a damn about what their competition is doing so I suggest you don't even bring Xbone/PS4 up.
I would imagine it would be. As far as I understand it, getting rid of region lock means that Nintendo will make less money off of importers possibly buying new Nintendo systems when moving to a new region in order to play those games. I don't know how much of a financial impact this might be, but I imagine that would be one of the reasons to have region lock in the first place.
Exactly. The F-Zero 60Hz campaign took well over a month.Even that is wildly optimistic.

Are all VC games 60 Hz, or just F-Zero? My memory is rather vague about this. I recall that Nintendo sneaked back to 50 Hz after one game.
If this happened I'd import EX Troopers xD
Good tipRemember everyone, popular posts isn't just determined by Yeah's, it's also determined by comments on the thread. If we want to keep some of these threads on top, then you can continue to assist by boosting it with comments. Be sure to not just bump either. Say something meaningful (and preferably not the same thing you already said in that thread).
