Lol they think that will stop people from drawing porn. I know that disney is really strict about porn about Mickey mouse and them. There are tons of stories of companies having to stop using characters because people started drawing so much porn of them, i remember on one of the sleepycabin podcasts talking about that.

I think lots of bronies cosplay or really like the cosplay aspect of it. Normally bronies means men so its rarer they cosplay but they definately are into the cosplay part of it and have ears or tails and stuff.

I think lots of bronies love the idea of having sex with the ponies of MLP so I guess they are furries in that regard of wanting to have sex with something anthropomorphic but I guess since lots of them don't have like distinct fursonas they wouldnt be considered furries??

They're not considered furries because they don't interact regularly with furries or consider themselves as such. It's not really about what they do, but how they group themselves.
I was considering how to explain this distinction and I'm having trouble drawing analogies but you can think of it like this.
The whole sex with anthropomorphized animals is a commonality all 3 fandoms share, but it's not their defining attribute. What makes Bbronies Bronies is their enjoyment and focus on the MLP franchise. Ditto with Sonic fans with the Sonic franchise. What makes furries furries is the expression and roleplay as animals/hybrids of their own creation. Which is not to say that there aren't furries who fantasize about anthro characters like Minerva Mink, as these kinds of fans were likely the ur-furs, but that what they're drawn to is not her character within the context of Animaniacs, but her general aesthetic. Zootopia follows this aesthetic, but MLP doesn't, nor does Sonic, which have their own traditions and contexts.
