Lil Wayne hospitalized in Nebraska after seizure on private plane

Lil Wayne in Omaha emergency room after making emergency landing

OMAHA, Neb. —Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., known internationally as music mogul Lil Wayne, 33, landed at Omaha's Eppley Airfield Monday afternoon due to a medical concern, KETV NewsWatch 7 confirmed.

The plane refueled and took off.

A short while later, the same plane called back with a passenger in distress (Wayne), who was having another seizure, and the plane circled back to Eppley Airfield.

An ambulance was called, and Wayne was taken to CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center, where he is being treated in the emergency room.

No further information has been given.

In an interview with MTV in 2013, Wayne disclosed that he suffers from epilepsy, which prompts sporadic seizures.

He is next scheduled to perform Saturday at the Sprint Center in Kansas City.

Epilepsy sucks. I hate having seizures and the medicine sucks too.

All they'll do for him is give him a CAT scan to make sure there isn't any permanent damage and monitor him and let him go.

Hope he's okay. I know how it feels.

Always here if you ever wanna talk. I have epilepsy as well, but been seizure-free for three years. It was bad when I was younger, though.

In Virginia it used to be a year and I think it's six months seizure free. I haven't been able to drive for 15 years so I don't really know.

I didn't start having them until I was 22 and after my second they took my license away. I got an ID so I could do adult stuff.

I thought he stopped? I remember watching an interview with him where he was talking about his lean addiction in past tense. This also isn't the first time Wayne has been hospitalized.

Also, since we're in a Wayne thread, can I just say that Carter 2, and 3 are fucking amazing. I hope the dude makes a swift recovery.

codeine with sprite lol

I like codeine but only for sleep not sure how or why ppl like it the get a swerve. I have done DXM in the past though I guess I like uppers more the downers/sleeping feeling.
