Fuck LRG.

I ordered *ONE* game from them:

Switch Limited Run #65: Streets of Rage 4 Classic Edition-Sega Genesis Cartridge Box

It took well over a year to get mine and the communication with them was horrid as in: they won't bother responding to you.

NEVER AGAIN.

It's a shitty move. They're not a small company counting every dollar and they should also know by now how many copies they can easily sell based on previous releases of the same series / genre. It's not a complete guess and a huge risk to end up with tons of unsold copies.

That is news how? The entire point of the company is to extract value from super niche physical copies because gamers are perfectly fine to be spending $100 on something that can be bought for $5 digitally.
if people want to buy niche physical releases that's fine with me. The company just needs to deliver an actual product and not burnt discs

LRG isn't for everyone and mostly myself included but if the market can support a company doing limited runs that's fine with me. What's not fine is burning cds and calling them "releases"

But I don’t get it - what’s the issue? From the OP it seems like the same thing between disc except the sector size, which is a software toggle, no? Or are people complaining they didn’t use 3DO discs that are somehow produced differently? Is this game even for 3DO or was it a PC release?

the issue is they laid about WHY they made the CD-R versions then the ex co-founder told people in an interview the plan was to use CD-R to save money because they didnt think anyone would ever notice

classic bait and switch

This company has been shitty for the last few years. Got on my radar in a bad way when they fired kara Lynn. Just a messy way to can someone.

And for years people have complained about the cheapness and especially the delays on receiving products. So bad that people forget that they bought lrg products cause they are half a year late
