Limited Run Games - Putting digital games into your hands

I'm interested by that Dead Synchronicity. Daedalic games are usually good !
I see they also have a physical Heart & Slash in the UK, maybe I should import it at the same time...

You Europeans get a lot of cool physical PS4 games. Rising Star and Sodesco put out some cool stuff over here - unfortunately many of the Sodesco games aren't easy to come by here in Canada (VGP is the only retailer that sells them).

Badland releases even include a Soundtrack CD and manual, at least the ones I got (Anima and Heart&Slash). Probably gonna grab Dex at some point too

you should check base.com. They ship from the UK, but shipping is cheap and games are even cheaper than listed on the site because they remove VAT on checkout

thanks for posting, there's definitely some good stuff there at good prices us Canadians can't normally get here

Finally received my Dragon Fantasy on both PSV and PS4, and still waiting for shipping confirmation for my One Way Heroics copies :)

Oh by the way Fisico : I ordered one Oreshika and one Soul Sacrifice Delta (both Asian English) from Heavy-arms just three days ago. There were more left apparently.
($35x2 + $10 shipping)
I'll give a feedback when the games arrive by the end of the month :)

Damn, even with the great way the soundtrack CDs are packaged, my copy of Thomas Was Alone came with a cracked case :(

It's ok though, CD jewel cases are an easy replacement.

Thanks, on the fence for this one, my euro save will probably not work with the asian copy otherwise I would have already bite.

Gimme a link, Gimme a Link!

I been dying to have those!

The website is this one :

Don't trust their "out of stock" signs. Oreshika was oos on the website but was actually available when I asked.

To enquire about a game and also buy it (you can't order from the site unless you're Malaysian) you have to write at this address :
Heavyarm8@gmail.com
I just asked if they had these two games in stock (they said two days before on Twitter they received some), and they did !
Then I paid with PayPal.

I can't 100% vouch for them yet, but I've read they were trustworthy, and they appear to be nice, so far :)

I'll vow for heavy-arm as well.
Already ordered 8 games from them this year and I'm planning on grabbing a couple more soon. :)

Just got my Dragon Fantasy on Vita.

The game logo on the spine is so damn small it's crazy haha - a few games from each region for comparison.

Not quite related to Limited Run, but does anybody know if Super Stardust Ultra VR is playable without the VR headset? I would really love to own a physical copy of the game but I'm not really interested in VR at all.

My copy of Dragon Fantasy has yet to show up. I'm starting to fear it got stuck on customs like that one time with Octodad. God, I hope not, I had to pay an extra 30 just to release it from there and wait nearly a month. I enquired LRG about this stuff and they mentioned they would add my country to their list of prepaid custom fees service, but only starting with TWA/OWH, so sadly if Dragon Fantasy got stuck there I'm going to be royally pissed due to my bad luck. My country's customs are the goddamn mafia.

It's just the normal game with the VR update. You can play it just fine without VR.

Seems to be the full game, I guess it also includes VR modes. That and Hustle Kings are the only two PS VR launch retail games that say PSVR Compatible not PSVR Required.
But I'm sure we'll find out shortly. I'd love the physical copy of SS as well.

I know It's yeah, off topic but I really enjoy that this thread is kind of a physical collectors den as well as a LRG hype train

Thanks for notifying me about SS getting a physical release.

I'm also glad to see SS get a release. I hadn't checked the VR games, I just cynically assumed most games wouldn't get physical. I was ready to be happy with demo + Rez.

Same!

Wut, RIGS requires PSVR? Awww, that sucks. Not sure when/if I'll get one (may even be a year from now or later) but was hoping to still play RIGS.

Man, I'm always an interested optimist anyway, but I am really enjoying One Way Heroics on Vita.

I buy so many Vita games that it's hard to say I wouldn't have gotten this one eventually, but probably not til it was cheap and irrelevant, and then maybe dragged my feet getting around to playing it in the backlog.

Really glad LRG put this copy out and introduced me to it this way... maybe a more legitimatized way is how I would put it. The opposite of digital devaluation.

I also love this built in twitter feature it has. Just feels cool. More games should have something like this, where applicable.

I read it's a Gamestop exclusive, that's why.

$20 only... but then it costs $25 shipping to France :'(

I'll probably end up buying it for cheaper on ebay

EBGames is owned by Gamestop, they get Gamestop exclusives like Song of the Deep. Sometimes though they skip EBGames for god knows what reason, looks like this is one of those times.

Oh, right, I didn't know that :)
We got Song of the Deep in France too, since our local Micromania is owned by Gamestop. But no sign of Duke Nukem 3D here... This one is Gamestop exclusive for real ^^

When the rights to Duke Nukem 3D reverted from Devolver Digital and it got delisted with 2K saying it'd eventually come back, I figured something like that would happen, where we'd get a different release and no Vita version comeback of the previous release. Almost all of us likely have it tied to that PS+ subscription status too, since there was no option to buy while the subscription is still active.

If only LRG had been born a year earlier and had got in good with Devolver in time. That's why I was glad they mentioned that particular digital complication in the mini documentary.

I'm only mentioning this because people are talking about Duke Nukem being Gamestop exclusive. They also will be getting:

Prototype: Biohazard Bundle (includes Prototype 1 & 2) - Out October 12th
Killing Floor 2 - Out November 18th

Links go to the PS4 versions, but XB1 versions are also available. $39.99. I'm pretty interested in the Prototype bundle!

Weird that KF2 physical is exclusive to GameStop in the US, yet it's available at both EB (GameStop owned) and Amazon in Canada.

Thats a dick move

Or, it's a admission they underestimated demand with the LRG release, and now they're offering people a new chance to snag a copy.

A physical copy of this game is still going to be rare after this upcoming release, mind you.

Better this way than LRG doing a reprint imo.

(for the record: I own a copy of the LRG print)
