That's not a good question, I would be concerned if games were delisted and you weren't able to download what you paid for. What's the point of delisting when owners still can download?
I don't get it
The DLC has TONS of licensed material from Disney to Sonic, etc.Not the biggest LBP fan, but fucking lame. Why do they always delist these games? Licensing issues?
Yeah, DLC makes sense, but I'm asking about the base game here. I don't remember much about it.The DLC has TONS of licensed material from Disney to Sonic, etc.
Oh wow i didnt know. It was not a good game, but still. So you cant play any real little big planet games online on ps5 anymore?Expected this to happen considering they shut down the servers back in April.

LittleBigPlanet 3 Servers Are Officially Shut Down 'Indefinitely,' Sony Confirms - IGN
Sony has confirmed that LittleBigPlanet 3 servers on PlayStation 4 will remain offline “indefinitely” following troubles with the service from earlier this year.www.ign.com
Yeah that idk. It loses more than half its value without the servers but the campaign was still decent.Yeah, DLC makes sense, but I'm asking about the base game here. I don't remember much about it.
Even Mm (which didn't make LBP3, btw) is saying goodbye, so it does seem to be truly ded.
I do think Sackboy 2 is on the table, especially after Astro Bot's success. I hope Sumo Sheffield is making it.
Licensed music and other properties. What's the point of delisting when owners still can download?
I don't get it
You may be damn right! Especially after Astrobot success, LBP trilogy remaster should be a no brainer.another remaster incoming, yayyyyy
If I were to guess, I would say that it's related to the music licensing. The deal has likely expired (or will very soon) and this prohibits them from selling new copies of the games since they'd be profiting for music they don't pay for anymore. The people who already bought it have a license, so they cannot remove it. Same situation as Forza Horizon 4 if I'm not mistaken. What's the point of delisting when owners still can download?
I don't get it
They aren't printing more discs. So... almost the same issue.*mutters in physical master race tone*
Physical discs will still be purchasable.
It's just a little slower in comparison. If you keep playing you'll get use to it and the levels do get better (the earlier levels are easier).I tried playing Sackboy after getting back into Astro Bot. It's awful in comparison, so I gave up on it. Sumo has a lot of work getting it up to snuff for a sequel.
Little big planet is much better, the best part was the levels created by other playersI tried playing Sackboy after getting back into Astro Bot. It's awful in comparison, so I gave up on it. Sumo has a lot of work getting it up to snuff for a sequel.
It still has a campaign mode that people can still play-through so all they needed to do was put a disclaimer and perhaps reduce the price (if that already hasn't been done). I don't think removing the game because the online is missing is a good decision. It completely sucked after they killed the access to online creations as that was the only thing that kept the game remotely interesting. Continuing to sell it with the best part of the game missing was kind of sleazy anyway.
Can still buy from new from some retailers and used discs will be around for a long while. They aren't printing more discs. So... almost the same issue.
There's a disclaimer on the store page and it's been 20 bucks forever. The campaign was never the selling point of LittleBigPlanet. It was always sharing creations and playing levels other people made. When that went away it killed the heart of the game.It still has a campaign mode that people can still play-through so all they needed to do was put a disclaimer and perhaps reduce the price (if that already hasn't been done). Fair enough and if the game had the engagement numbers we probably wouldn't be having this conversation. The campaign and local play should still be reasons to keep it for sale but yeah, I know it was never the main selling point. There's a disclaimer on the store page and it's been 20 bucks forever. is the sp good ???It still has a campaign mode that people can still play-through so all they needed to do was put a disclaimer and perhaps reduce the price (if that already hasn't been done). I don't think removing the game because the online is missing is a good decision.

I have always enjoyed the campaign modes for LBP games (LBP1, 2). I haven't played through LBP3's and it wasn't because I didn't find it fun... life just had different priorities and when I got back into playing games more regularly I was playing other games. So I can't give a fair assessment. I do plan on going back and hopefully it will be just as good as the previous games but I did enjoy what I did play of the campaign mode.is the sp good ???
Oh yeah, LBP is much different, I know. I wasn't responding to that game getting a sequel, though I think it should. It could do well with a PC release.Little big planet is much better, the best part was the levels created by other players
PS+ people won't be able to. If you have a PS+ copy of a delisted game, you can't download it anymore (that happened with Ride 4 and others). What's the point of delisting when owners still can download?
I don't get it
...?Hopefully Media Molecule gets delisted as well.
I thought it was fun and good enough. Pretty much what 3D World is to Galaxy, but if they feel the need to improve after Astro Bot's critical acclaim, I welcome that as well.I tried playing Sackboy after getting back into Astro Bot. It's awful in comparison, so I gave up on it. Sumo has a lot of work getting it up to snuff for a sequel.
