Yep, the game is cool, much better than Modnation imo, but the Holiday season is too crowded with kart games. Since I love the genre I'll buy at least this one and Sonic.

The beta was absolutely terrible. Instead of Evolution, SCE London or a junior team at Polyphony, they handed the ip over to United Front games....a studio that has already released 1 mediocre racing game with low frame rates and long load times.

I was actually looking forward to it since it looked like a light hearted Twisted Metal clone.

I'm sure the resources were better spent on the rushed MNR Vita with no online because there weren't other racing games at launch and people were clamoring for a Vita release of the game.

Anyway, is not that ModNation is a bad game, it is just poorly optimized. On top of that, it didn't have a mascot like Sackboy, to sell copies just on the name.

I think United Front Games is an incredibly talented developer, and I really enjoy the LBP IP... but it's been beat into the ground, and this is another Kart racer, which is releasing in November. Dead. On. Arrival.

Well, the super-high numbers of Smash Brothers beg to differ, not to mention the fact the PBR roster itself will bring in a lot of people.

LBP Karting was really fun from what I played, but I'm on the fence purely due to how much I want to buy this holiday.
