Lol let's hope today's drama sparks a little interest in this. The DNC will regret all the free coverage they are giving to the GOP debates.

Jesus the DNC really are trying to sweep these debates under the rug huh?

Yes. They really want no prolonged primary season. They want a coronation as quickly as possible lol

Given how absurd the Republicans are right now w/ these debates, I can see why.

Let's GOOOOO!

Wonder if Hildawg will go for Bernies jugular over the data thievery or act dignified and above it. Either way, I'm watching.

Only 3? Man, the DNC has to really catch up to the GOP on debate counts

The Democratic National Committee is scheduling as few debates as possible to benefit Hillary Clinton's campaign. I wouldn't be surprised if this thread is the first time most of the people here were aware that there's a debate tonight.

Wait, this isn't a joke thread? I haven't heard a single word about this anywhere until right now. Wow.

Even the guys I know who follow politics religiously forgot this was happening. In fact, I just read something about where they were planning to host the 4th debate in January and honestly thought that was the next debate.

The one demmy I would vote for this election has been caught involved with allegedly shady, and news is sill coming out.

I... I just don't know about this one.

Jesus the DNC really are trying to sweep these debates under the rug huh?

They already have their candidate, and it is one that is a shoe-in for the general. The more debates there are the more chances there are for Hillary to trip up and thus lose support. Sure, the chance of that happening are slim to none, but the Democrats aren't going to take that risk.

I wonder how the Sanders database thing will affect the debate. I mean, Hillary could just lay in on that and destroy couldn't she?

Really wondering how hard Hillary will hit Sanders on the breech.
Are you guys kidding? The DNC is doing all the lifting, she'll keep her hands clean and make some "magnanimous gesture" out of vouching for Sanders' character in all the time she's know him. It'll be sprinkled with just enough ambiguity to leave some subtle doubt, but nothing overt. Like, probably just a few bad apples, never known Bernie to personally be dishonest, then some neutral let the process play out rhetoric, etc. etc.

It doesn't take a crystal ball to see the likely political kabuki in this whole thing. Why would the front runner sully themselves with finger pointing given the numbers? Better to play nice, increase the odds of soaking up doubtful Bernie supporters when it's time for them to come around and be good team players. She just needs to play nice enough to appear gracious, but leave an escape hatch if "new facts come to light".

Did you not hear what her campaign said about him? Check the other thread. Mind you, I'd be fine if she kept herself above it.

Oh God, I just realized what the canned response will actually be. Moderator gives Clinton opening, Clinton echoes what Bernie said to her about the Benghazi emails, congenial laughs will be had. Many back pats for not being as childish as the GOP during debates. Clip is relooped endlessly. Chris Matthews jizzes all over, reaffirming his love of "this stuff".

The transmission... fading. Psychic powers, almost spent...

Whoa, what am I doing here? Did I type that?

Thanks for not making a "who?" joke about Martin O'Malley, OP. Sick of that shit.

Anyway, excited that this is actually on network television. I can watch it on my TV without connecting a laptop!
