Oh I agree. But when the question is literally "how would you make this difficult thing happen" and the answer is "I would just make all of these great things happen"...

He has mentioned his strategy. Its a tough one to imagine working - which requires a huge grass roots upswell and showing up to mid terms - but he has mentioned it.

It' something I would love to happen but I just don't see it happening in this complacent society.

Though I would say Hillary is kinda conceding the status quo of mid term inertia and crafting a presidency around that, while Bernie is actually trying to reinvigorate the party to get out and vote and to see the value of midterms.

So to that I do give him credit.

I don't get this "but Bernie can't get do any of that" narrative. That's ignoring what a representative democracy is. We decide to vote in people who will get these things to happen. If they're not in office yet, then it's up to us to change that.

Bernie Sanders sure is talking alot without providing a single detail. How does he plan on doing any of this? Just hopes and prayers?

when has a candidate ever detailed their plan at a debate? the debate is for the platform, the website is for the planks, same as it's always been

Martin, personally: fuck you.

Don't justify this crony capitalism as that being a good thing Europe wants.

What a fucking disgusting claim. People should have booed.

Hillary is dominating the debate. It is soo tiring hearing Bernie criticize Wall Street. They are not evil. He makes them sound worse than ISIS. Wall street provides great wealth, employment and opportunity in America. Sure it can get carried away sometimes, but it's still overall a good thing

Counting on that happening is like counting on Trump to be a decent human being. People just don't vote in the midterms and that likely won't change in the short term.

Well then we're fucked no matter who wins.

Give Bernie some credit, he has energized large swathes of America to stop being so cynical again.

Just a little carried away, you know, like sending us into the worst recession since the Great Depression.

sometimes?

O.M.G

O'MALLEY GOD

Edit: Hillary Clinton totally deserves to be called out on the whole September 11 answer though.

Did Bernie say anything about small business owners? Or is he just raging against corporations... meanwhile most small businesses are either LLC or incorporated.

With attitudes like yours, we'll be headed into another Great Recession and probably a couple of other foreign wars. You need someone with presidential experience there to get things done, and Sanders is not that person.
