Counting on that happening is like counting on Trump to be a decent human being. People just don't vote in the midterms and that likely won't change in the short term.

Either the party begins to do it or they are going to allow the Republicans to poison the process for possibly a generation.

I am more in the Hillary camp but I at least give Bernie credit for making mid term complacency a point of emphasis and offering some sort of strategy outside of the Obama and Clinton strategy of just hoping for the best and doing the same thing. Or even worse with Clinton who seems to just be running a campaign that is conceding a divided congress for her tenure. Smart to have but there should be a bit more to try and disrupt that.

Bernie has introduced legislation that more or less explains his plans. Free tuition, for example. None of the candidates go in depth regarding their plans during these debates. Why does Bernie get criticized for it so much?

With attitudes like yours, we'll be headed into another Great Recession and probably a couple of other foreign wars. You need someone with presidential experience there to get things done, and Sanders is not that person.

Obama didn't have presidential experience yet he was able to steer us from a financial collapse. You're just repeating an ages old talking point.

Getting people to vote in midterms should be mainly a responsibility of the DNC not any 1 candidate

Bernie is doing the best on economic issues. Hillary is doing better on foreign policy.

EDIT - Glad Bernie is bringing up Bill Clinton's shenanigans. More or less just as responsible for the mess we are in today as Bush Jr.

Hillary's laugh reminds me of Last Man on Earth where i've learned to just go along with the cringey moments. It's just something that's going to happen.

But there is no reason the bully pulpit and the spotlight the executive gets shouldn't be used to drive a long and sustained campaign emphasizing its importance and its ability to get meaningful things passed.

Obama really did waste a lot of that momentum by not steering it early in his presidency.

Hillary is dominating the debate. It is soo tiring hearing Bernie criticize Wall Street. They are not evil. He makes them sound worse than ISIS. Wall street provides great wealth, employment and opportunity in America. Sure it can get carried away sometimes, but it's still overall a good thing

Bwhahahaha....

Sanders is a terrible debater. He's really the anti Elizabeth Warren: a complete inability to explain policy in simple terms for people. He rants and never gets anywhere.

Oh, Hillary...

Let's face facts here, please? The ACA is shit, and is not good enough.

Better than before. Not good of itself.
