If it's there, it's not listed as a download. My understanding is the BC patches download automatically when you try to play a supported game.

Insanely WTF?! My name on Live is LakeEarth v1, and I just want to remove the v1 from the name. It then asks for 800 credits. I'm like that CAN'T be real, so I went ahead and hit okay, and it told me I didn't have enough points to do it. Fuck man.
And I didn't see any location that said "BC compatibility" and I didn't try putting in an old disk and see what happens. I'll do that now.

I can't comprehend why anyone would complain about needing to pay to change a gamertag. You couldn't change it on the orginal Xbox at all, and now that you can you expect it to be free? You've got be kidding. If for some reason you're unhappy with your gamertag then you should only need to change it once, and it's your own fault for picking a shitty one in the first place.
Besides, it wouldn't be much of an online community if all the troublemakers disappeared with a name change.

Return to Castle Wolfenstein on Xbox allowed you to use any name you wanted to for online play and I swear people changed their name all the time. I could never figure out which person my friend was without asking.
I was wondering how they were going to implement this without letting people go nuts with it and I think this is a good solution.

Not only the friends list thing, but what if you end up playing against the same asshats over and over again because they keep changing their damn names all the time?
I think it's a good thing to keep the name changes down to a bare minimum. It'll help to weed out the assholes as the community grows.
