Constructive criticism:
1) The idea isn't that original. That's not necessarily a killer for a piece of art, but something more than the obvious twist might be useful. I was drawing Pacman with fangs back in the eighties. Show me something new.
2) It doesn't draw on the subject material very well. If it's an attempt to evoke connections with videogames, how about some pixellation on some parts of it (the walls, most likely)?
3) The eye looks terrible. Okay, that isn't particularly constructive, but it had to be said.
4) The fang is in the wrong place. Think about it - that's roughly half way down the mouth - it should be up near the front. Otherwise it looks like he's got a fang sticking out of his soft palette, which would be most uncomfortable.

To be honest, it's a bit "been there, seen that". It's easy to just take anything and just make it bloody for a somewhat cheap reaction. But, on a technical level, it has a certain level of charm.

I think it's a safe bet to say that your girlfriend sucks.

Not sure how old you or your girlfriend are but if she likes art tell her to keep practicing, take the good with the bad and to really be strong enough to get a lot of bad and to put your stuff where you will hear bad cuz when everyone constantly sticks thier tongue up your ass it is really hard to keep improving. Just keep smiling practicing and doing what she loves. don't let the world bring ya down to much.
this would have worked if the dots were still circles of red as well as drops laying on a ground that were just left by a bleeding ghost would be smeared or circular to some nature.
here is some video game love i did about 4 years ago.
i know, it's not your typical canvas but i like working with blood and people.

Anyway, it's pretty good. If she wants to make it more ironic than goth she could always draw the ghosts as wooden stakes or something.

Wow that's tacky...but what are you gonna do. I'm sure it's hanging next to some black lacquer furniture and a velvet painting of dogs playing poker.
As for the original painting in this thread. It's not bad. It's kind of an interesting subtle change that makes a big difference to the mood a pacman image.
As for the people making fun of you in this thread..., learn to accept it. Most of their comments are actually pretty funny.
