If I'm lucky enough to get there in good health then sure.
Once you reach your late 70's it seems to really come down to how much you have taken care of yourself as well as your genetics and just luck. I know people in their 80's living in conditions which I wouldn't want to go through, and other people who are 90+ and are still fairly active, mentally healthy and enjoying life.

Plenty people in Asia and Europe are over 100 years old

As medicine technology evolve human lives n quality also increases

Dont understimate the quality of elderly lives

not every grandpa/ma have to sit on a wheelchair

Plenty centenerian can still work and enjoy daily activity

My grandma are over 90 years old and still going out to visit relatives

Just stay off the drugs ,alcohol, exercise daily that should help you alot to prolong your life expectancty

As for me yes i want to play Playstation 20

Pass!

You are too big to live that long. Better hope for cybernetics or deal with death like an adult would.

Pff I'm operating under the assumption that I possess superior genetics the likes of which mankind has never witnessed before.

Edit: just remembered I have type 1 diabetes. Fuck, scratch that assumption

I invest a lot in dividend stocks cause I want to quit working as early as possible and enjoy life. I'm hoping life extension tech comes out so I can live even longer. If I don't have to work is pretty much my attitude about living forever. I understand I'll be slower and weaker, but as long as my mind still works decently I don't care.

I feel like I'm getting a glimpse into what old age is like with weight loss. I was only mildly overweight but now I'm way on the skinny side of things and I feel weaker, and even though I work out regularly there is stuff I used to do but can't. I'm lifting lighter weights and I feel more like I could get injured doing it. I barely paid attention to my form but now it seems really important, like if I do something a little wrong I could actually hurt myself.

fuck no im blowing my brains out as soon as i start shitting myself

The prospect of living out my final years in a British care home fills me with dread.
dude i dont know how bad thy are there, but if they are anything like america's.... my god it is so fucking bad. the stench alone is something you cant experience anywhere else. no idea how those people even could stand the thought of moving in to one of those places.

yeah i think ill just opt out (read: double barrel in my mouth) to check out if it comes down to a nursing home lol

I don't even want to live into my 90s. Depending on current events, that number goes down significantly.

A few years ago I taught a current events class where we would watch CNN 10. They interviewed a guy from Asia that was in his 120’s. The entire interview was him asking to die.

Modern medicine has made an obsession of lifespan.

This 107 year old woman was interviewed in the paper today. She said "I'm not old, I'm just a little older (than others)". From what I read she is very happy and mentally fit.

I'm not eating a ton of greens and veggie smoothies for nothing. I'm 32 now saving and investing. 33 more years of working until I'm 65 hopefully I'll amass enough dividend income by then and can just focus on reinvesting that for another 35 years I should have amassed a good chunk of change at 100. Homes in 55+ communities in a good city aren't that expensive. I could live in one of those for 45 years just playing the game and playing video games.

I don't want to eat veggie smoothies for a chance of 4 more years of veggie smoothies. ;)

What time is it?
I have an aunt that was playing tennis well into her 90s and sharp as a tack. She slowed down a bit after a random dog attack. I'd be comfortable living that long if I was as healthy as her.

That said, I'm very rich and can easily afford the latest ED meds..

IDK man, people in Okinawa are still kicking and all at 100, not saying i'll make it, but it doesn't seem so bad if you nail the right life style for it.
