You guys are not going to believe this. Remember during redemption a few days ago when nothing was in stock and I was making fun of the fact that the douchebag duo who does the dailies videos have their own desktop wallpaper to purchase in the Lockerz store? And that no one would want to buy that shit and have to stare at those two hipster assholes all day on their computer screen?

Well, apparently I FUCKING BOUGHT THE WALLPAPER SOMEHOW. I just got this email now:

What makes this even funnier is the fact that it takes them one week to deliver it or 14-21 days outside the US.

Oh, and guess what? I have cheated by sending like 3 fake invites to myself. I guess they don't care if you purchase an item that costs them ZERO DOLLARS!
 
Man I'm so down on Lockerz. I really hope I can get something this month, considering I've been answering questions since October.

Also, I'm annoyed autofill for LastPass doesn't work on Lockerz with Chrome.
 
No response so far but I'm still wondering why they think I cheated. I never sent to fake emails. I have a feeling that I'll get some BS response.
 
I just got this PM from someone. Regarding the douchebag wallpaper I never even ordered. Great explanation and it all makes sense. This is pretty scary though that that link to the wallpaper I posted let everyone be logged into my account. How is that even possible? My account wasn't hijacked. I don't care about the PTZ; it's my personal info in my profile I'd care about. Such a fuckup. :lol

Hi, about the receipt you posted in the Lockerz thread, here's what I think happened:

When I clicked the link to that ridiculous wallpaper you put up the other day, I was apparently logged into your account because the displayed name (MY NAME) and PTZ (198) were wrong, so I logged off, but it seems not everyone did so:

SL, weren't you the one who won the DSi in the OP? Could someone fill me in? 23 pages at 100 posts each is a lot to dedicate to one thread.:lol
 
i got a t-shirt and one of the dumb iphone covers then got a email saying i sent fake emails and all my points were gone. the site is lame.

Well basically the site seemed nice. It was easy to get ptz, taking a minute of your time everyday. Also, the prizes were pretty cheap. Then comes the restocks, the worst thing on this site besides the douchebags. Restocks were pretty much an annoying time but I did get a DSi. I basically woke up early in the morning and got lucky. Anyways, a month passes by and i order an Itouch, and I'm like nice, Lockerz is an awesome site. Well, I still haven't recevied that Itouch, and it seems more than half of the people who redeemed prizes that day didn't get their prize. The recent restock pretty much was a joke and pissed pretty much more than half of the Lockerz's members. Also, a few days ago they accused me of cheating and I'm not getting the Itouch I ordered.

So pretty much, don't waste your time on this fucking site unless you're patient and want to go on a site updated by douchebags. I mean who the hell cares about a douchebag's New Years resolutions. :\

Lockerz has way too many visitors, so when the redemption day comes, people are constantly spamming the F5 button in hopes of getting a prize. Servers are always down because of the traffic. The site has really bad coding so glitches are everywhere. The most recent one being the account hijacking of criesofthepast because he posted a link from his browser.

Prizes are usually gone within a few minutes because there are so many people, and not nearly enough prizes. People speculate that they only have like 5 of each item and only people that have enough time and dedication will get something.

This led to Lockerz keeping the redemption date a secret, yet they promised that the redemption date would be before 2009 was over. So people stared at the screen for over 48 hours, but even then a lot of people didn't get anything.

Shadowlink man, that fucking sucks. Worst of all of the fails that has come out of Lockerz has to be a false accusation they sent you. That is beyond fucked. Maybe the people you invited never logged in very often and therefore they assumed you made the accounts on different IPs? Completely not your fault and would be a morally wrong thing to do.

Which is what I'll mention if they reply with me saying that. Then they'll probably make some other BS excuse.

Do you live in the US? My email said that it will be 2 weeks or less if I'm in the US, but 4 weeks or less if I am outside (which I am).

Yea im in the US. heres what that part said for me.

Odd that everyone has it different. Btw im in Indiana which is 2 states away from Lockerz HQ. Possibly why im getting it alot faster.
 
So apparently the redemption in January is supposed to have the same price. ie: prices for prizes are not going up 4x.

At least that's what people on facebook are saying.

I'm going to wait until an official announcement. Also, if I do order something, they'll probably say I cheated. :(
