For lurkers, email me at white_hawk45@hotmail.com if you want an invite. Or, go here: whitehawks Lockerz Invite Site

TRY TO PM THE PEOPLE BELOW, THEY COULD USE SOME INVITES
These guys could use some invites!!:
PM THESE PEOPLE said:
Other people to PM your email to who want to get Z-Listed:
- Metalic Sand
- cann3dheat
- Phoenix's Rage
- Lorelei
- Meier
- BobFromPikeCreek
- Relix
- Razorskin
- Calamachino
- K2Valor
- enzo_gt
- TurtleSnatcher
- Kusagari
- Ashhong

Has anyone else heard of this? I just stumpled across it, and its basically a site where you visit it everyday and eventually win stuff.

Heres the site: http://www.lockerz.com

Example: If you answer one question a day (Like "What do you prefer: Myspace, Facebook or Bebo?" or "Conan O'Brian or Jimmy Fallon?" Like so:

2mnqdf4.jpg

- 100 points wins you a game, and some of them are pretty damn new (need for speed shift, fight night round 4, Prototype, Madden 10, Dirt 2, Batman Arkham Asylum).
- 300 wins you an ipod nano
- 625 gets you a ps3 slim.

firestorm explains it the best

Argh. I'm so stupid. I keep forgetting to do it. 50 days of just voting in a poll basically is enough for a free game (100 points). Or if you invite 20 people, that's 25 days. Added to bookmark toolbar so I remember.

Btw: I think right now they only ship to the US, but you can sign up now anyway. They are launching internationally on the 15th.

Don't refresh too much, or you might be banned
LOCKERZ said:
3) Do not refresh over and over again tonight. There has been a bunch of rumors about how soon you can refresh or not before getting banned. There is no hard and fast rule of 10 minutes per refresh. That said, if hundreds of thousands of members keep refreshing every minute, you'll slow the site down and potentially cause redemption delays for everyone. We will be watching the refreshes and those who cannot keep their fingers off the f5 button :) will be banned from the night's activities. Use your judgment please.

Proof that the site is legit: A fellow GAF member ordered a DSi, and it arrived!

I can invite anyone too. I haven't gotten anything from the site, I only have 36 points. Plus, everything is always sold out :lol

I heard about it on another site where it the admins banned references to it saying it was a pyramid scheme.

Have people gotten stuff. If this is legit i will do it.

Nah, seems pretty damn legit. Legit as live club search I would say.

I used to think most internet contests and shit like that were fake until i won a free ps3, gamestop gift card and ps3 game from mtv.

(IF ANYONE WANTS TO BE KIND AND LET ME INVITE THEM, PM ME YOUR EMAIL :D )

Oh shit, I'm not sure about this anymore....

You just sent me the invite and it's the 666th message in my inbox.

I don't think I can go through with this.

EDIT:

Just kidding, I don't really care about that stuff. I deleted another message, making it 665, just in case though.

Is there any prizes that don't involve shipping? Like iTunes credit or something? I don't really want to go through all that shipping stuff.

There's over 100k people on the site. It's easy to get to 100 points and 360/ps3 games cost 100 points and ipod nanos cost 425 points. Do you really think they're giving out that stuff like candy? In my time there for a month everything has been sold out. They probably only sparsely restock 1-2 units per item every now and then just to prove to people that they do give out stuff. My guess is it's run by a marketing firm that analyzes the data collected from the daily polls. Or it's a social expeirment to see how many people visit the site daily like zombies hoping to get free stuff.

Maybe, but whats the worst that can happen. Takes 30 second to answer the question.

They do have itunes certificates and 12 months XBL codes, but im not sure if they just email you the code or ship the actual card. =/

I've joined some time ago... It really isn't too bad, 4 points a day with, like, 2 minutes of work.

On my first day, they had me play a Flash game, kinda like catching points (ptz) in a container, where I could earn tons of points that way. I only earned 8 though, because I was doing a bunch of stuff at once, and my laptop was lagging. :(

In another thread, someone said that someone legitimately received a PS3 Slim, so yeah...

I'm going to assume the dollar value (at least for big electronics) of points is a little less than 1/2 of the total number of points. Is that a good assumption?

Another one of those schemes where if you actually charged them minimum wage for the time you spend doing their surveys, clicks or questions, you would make much much more money than the value of the products you are getting.

There is no such thing as a free lunch.

Not really... If 1 point is worth about 50 cents, then you can easily make 2 dollars in 2 minutes.

Got an invite from whitehawk and signed up. Everything, save for this one scooter worth like 7000 points, seems to be fresh out :/

There's a bunch of unboxing videos from lockerz up on youtube "proving" it's legit, can't say how legit it is until I get my first item though.

They also have a twitter: http://twitter.com/Lockerz

And they send you a free t-shirt if you invite 20 people, so if you want an invite from just PM me your email :lol

Hey OP, let us know if you actually manage to get something after all these invite points(z). I wanna make sure this'll be worth it.

Last restock was Sept. 15. Site is going to go public this month Oct. 15 so they're sure to restock then(restock on the 15th of every month?). We'll see how fast stuff sells out. My guess is it's going to be a mad dash to try to claim what little stock there'll be while the site slows down to hell from getting hammered by so many people. Then when most are left out in the cold they're going to keep visiting the site for months hoping next time they'll get lucky.

Couldn't you just make 20 email accounts and invite yourself 20 times?

I think they have some kind of verification system. I was reading up about the site on thr forums and some people said that their accounts were resetted because they used fradulent methods in getting their points (like signing up for multiple emails to use up the 20 invites).

What the hell, I'm bored. May as well see what the big deal is. This site has been spammed to hell and back on the other sites I visit.

Relix, I sent you a PM with my e-mail.

I was going to make this thread a month ago but I thought it was against the rules. :lol

Anyways, I'll send invites too! I need to invite 5 more people to become Z-list. PM me your email if you want an invite.

Edit: Hawk, I think they do international now since the restock last month.

:lol You guys can't be serious. This is a well known scam.
Nope! My cousin received a prize from them and I know others( a forum I go to) who received prizes such as a PSP and I think Batman Arkham Asylum.

They also hand out your mailing address, e-mail and other personal information to anyone who is willing to pay.

Sites like these are usually legit, but the fact is that they can't continue giving out prizes once they get too popular. The earlier you get in, the better your chances of getting prizes.

Are you serious?

It's worth a try. I assumed Gaming Lagoon was a scam, and I ended up getting five 1600 point XBL cards from it without doing a thing.
This is what I also thought until I got 3 Amazon GCs from them.

Thanks to a fine fellow in this thread, I now have a bunch of invites as well. So PM away if you want one.

To those who are scared about them selling information, I sent them an email because I wanted to also know. They reply fast and they said they don't sell information.

Straight from their website. How do you think they make money? They sell your information to companies. Sure they may send out prizes, but it's going to be something like 1 in ever million winners. How you guys can believe this is real is beyond me.

I read in the Canada Deals thread that someone mentioned this not being available to Quebec. Could anyone confirm?

Yeah, because they are going to email you back, telling you they do sell information.

They said that? Well, that's good enough for me! :lol

You deserve to have your information sold to Nigerian bankers if you mess with this stuff.

Yeah I think I'll stop using this site now because of what Blu_LED posted above.

I can't believe people still believe the Nigerian scams though.

Well, aside from the obvious marketing slant, if anyone wants an invite, you can PM me as well. Just create a junk email address, guys!
