One year ago today, with six employees and a handful of members, Lockerz began. It's been an amazing year -- we've grown beyond our wildest expectations, thanks to the support of the loyal and large Lockerz community. Today, we have millions of members around the world and the early stage of PLAY is a popular new feature. We're busy preparing to launch two new features: CONNECT and SHOP. On top of all this, we're working on making Z-List status mean even more for those who get on the Z-List.

Since it's our birthday, we'd like to thank you for helping to make this a great first year.

Here are a few things we'd like to do for you:

1. We are going to "grandfather in" our early members by giving you an extra number of months before your PTZ and Z-List status expire. We will be announcing more details in the next few weeks.

2. Members who make the Z-List after March 19 will be given a new prize (and more perks) instead of a t-shirt. That's right - - if you became a Z-Lister during our first year, your t-shirt is sure to become a collector's item! We will send t-shirts to everyone who makes the Z-list by March 19 at 6 PM Eastern time, so you have a little more than a week to invite your friends if you are not yet a Z-Lister and want the shirt. We think our new Z-List prizes and perks will be loved as much as the shirt, if not more. Much more!

Well they finally did it, they are raising the prices. And BEFORE the stock is up 24/7.

Here are the Rules for March's Redemption:

1. The redemption will happen in March.
2. This redemption will happen in only one wave.
3. The redemption will be reserved for the winners of March Radness.
4. We will raise points levels by 4x.
5. It will be a surprise date and time.
6. Members are only allowed to redeem one (1) item.
7. There will be no exchanges, no returns, no cancellations and no PTZ refunds on redeemed prizes.
8. These Rules are in addition to Lockerz' Terms of Use and PTZ Rules.

Shipping:
1. All shipping is still free and every package sent internationally will be labeled as a "gift." However, you are responsible for all incoming duties and tariffs imposed by your local government.
2. All addresses must be entered accurately. If your address is not entered accurately, your prize order will be canceled.

Other Information:
1. Use of any bots, cheats or fraud will result in immediate order and membership cancellation.
2. Your browser's autofill is allowed (including Roboform).

Yes :lol I sent an email to them recently about that, and got this back:

I became a z-lister in October. Does that mean I don't get the new perks? I understand I won't get the new prize, but please tell me I get the new perks. Otherwise, that is completely ridiculous.

Lockerz seems so unorganized, considering the fact that you are now 5 months behind schedule (for your official launch, ie not beta). All the redemptions are failures, and everything is gone in 10 seconds. Also you select horrible times for the redemptions, like friday? Do it on a sunday, everyone is home on a sunday.

Sorry for all the criticism, but you have to realize that there are a lot of problems with lockerz. I eagerly await when you have prizes in stock 24/7, but I'm starting to lose hope that it will ever happen. I have 2100 points and no way to use them.

Yes, our launch is late. It is because our membership has grown so much that the site needs are much larger than they were 6 months ago. It's unfortunate, but the vast majority of our members appreciate what we've done, and the constant changes and improvements we are making.

Really hope I can get in on this wave. I just made enough points to get myself a PC game. Bioshock 2 is looking preeetty good. Although if they add BFBC2, I'm gonna snag that. Any clue on when the redemption is gonna be?
 
If anybody still wants an invite, I need to send out a couple so I can get on the Z list.

I want to get that T-shirt before they're all gone, hahaha
Other than that, I'm probably done with this now. I've had enough points for months to get the one prize I wanted (psp), and every time it's been out of stock within two minutes.
 
So they don't announce a redemption until the day it happens? How far in advance do they send out emails or post to the "hallway"? I'm trying to decide if this is worth continuing... I have a lot of free time and could probably get on immediately when the wave opens but a lot of replies in this thread talk about getting server errors.

I know what you mean, I saw that too. Hmm...Lockerz blog does say that it's powered by wordpress as well.

If they did do gift card giveaways every day that'd be fucking cool (depending on how hard it is to enter them *COUGH*FUCKINGLOCKERZ*COUGH* -_-), but then again they're probably gift cards to shitty places nobody cares about :lol

One of my friends mentioned this site to me and all he said was that basically you get free stuff (like games, iPods, consoles, etc.) for doing tedious things.. and I wondered how they get stuff to give away.. explain please?

heh, the new point values are hilariously sad.....they should have done a case by case increase instead of everything X4. But then again, that would require some actual effort on their part, and we can't have that now, can we?

a $10 dvd = 1400 points? lol

Been at this since october and I'm barely at 900...might as well try one last time to at least get a game out of this crap
 
So have they said anything about the system where you could use points to get discounts on items because I cannot see myself sticking with this long enough to save up for a Ps3 AGAIN. :lol
 
I just set up my account today (thanks drizzle), but it looks like everything is "More Soon". What's their schedule for getting new merch?

Edit: WTF, I can't download a desktop picture (not that I would have anyway) because it says More Soon.

There are specific dates for the redemption's.

They usually post the date of the redemption in the my locker page and then it will happen at some point in the day, there will be one by the end of the month for either the US or international members (international is currently winning). Also, so much for that macbook, my 1000 points cant even get me a DSi now, although I really cant complain though since I already redeemed a couple of smaller big ticket items already.
