Wow it seems shop is entirely worthless then. I hope the 24/7 redemption is different.

i think it's not possible. 390.000 ppl votet for the last daily. I think many ppl have saved up a ton of PTZs. And if they would open the 24/7 redemption the good stuff would be gone in minutes and maybe the would restock a couple of ipods every two weeks. the shop is where it is heading.

Signed on for the first time since January/February I believe. The SHOP is pretty useless. You need around 33k to get the PS3 for free.
Ok, I got access to shop, here's a rundown:
-Things are not in stock 24/7, they can go "fresh out" however they are taken off of the listing
-Specific "boutiques" that only last for one week. Each boutique has different shit, the way I see it by the end of the week, shit will be sold out, we'll see.
-Right now, the amount of things are very limited - that's okay.
-As said, you need quite a bit of points to get a big discount. If you have 500 ptz or something you won't be doing much. Getting 5% off of a console doesn't cost THAT much, so if you THINK that's a deal... >_>
-Can use Paypal or Amazon Payments
-Items ship "10 to 17 days after confirmation"
-You earn ptz for buying shit, you earn the max amount of ptz when you buy the item at full price. 0 if you get the item fr free
-The goal is to become the new online retailer of choice to all users because of ptz...
Verdict:
-...Once again they've deceived their members, the majority of whom are stupid...the initial launch of shop is presented to us amidst these shitty redemption, so it seems like at least something better. And up to this point many of the z-listers have gained plenty of ptz so their options seem so large. But in reality when we get back to zero ptz, it doesn't seem so great. 4 ptz per video (I'm not watching those shitty videos, I have 300+ unwatched, I tried to watch a lot on double ptz day on thursday but couldn't, it's annoying) and 4 for dailies (if you're a z-lister) is not good enough to get consistent discounts for multiple shopping purposes. Not to mention our points start expiring later this year every day. In the end this is just like Microsoft Live or any of those sites, they've just used this pipe-dream idea of redemption's to draw people in.
-Go to Amazon.com: Much more items, and hella quicker shipping. I get gift cards to there anyways and their prices are cheaper.
-You can kiss that "24/7" Ptz Place goodbye, just unrealistic. From a business standpoint they do not need to waste their resources, and they'll make considerably more money building up their shitty shop. As they said it'll just be a bonus during a certain day in the month. In other words: "We're going to discount shop prices on random days and it'll be hard as fuck to get them, good luck wasting your time."
Finally, I can use all of these ptz for something, I'm either going to get some skull candy headphones or SSFIV at 70% off....not too bad considering it's better than having them sit there (remember tryiing to get PS3's for 1000 ptz? :lol )...Boutique is over soon though.
And then I'm done. I'll keep tabs on this thread (Everyone here is funny as shit, and keeps things up to date) for anything Lockerz related, cannot take that site and it's fucking douchebag jargon. I bet they'll all join cupidtino.

I use Chrome or Safari for Lockerz stuff on mute, and then Firefox for regular stuff. That way you can listen to stuff on Firefox while the videos play.whitehawk said:

Did they ever mention when points would start to expire, or is "later this year" the best estimate? I'm just going to take a 15% discount on the PS3 whenever it's up and quit.

I missed it too, but sounds like everything was OOS in seconds yet again. I wish I could spend my PTZ in SHOP, but it's US only and if it ever goes international everything will be fresh out.

So I finally used my points for something. I had over 3000 ptz and never been able to redeem anything, so I decided to just waste them on anything from the store even if it was small because that's the only way I would be get anything. I bought the Picross 3D for 2000 ptz, still a big loss for all the time I wasted, and turns out order was canceled.
What a joke, all my ptz came form dailies and videos (most of ptz). It is still up in the store and I never got my points back, I never violated the TOS except for maybe refreshing too much. What a scam. At least I got something through swagbucks (200$ classical guitar) and even I spent less time on there. Sell your ptz now when you still can, whatever you use the ptz for will probally be canceled.
