I've actually got some old Lois Lane issues around here somewhere... I'll need to see if I have the black one.

The best part of the old comics like that are the ads though, imo.

Holy shit that's fucking hilarious. It started off as "Lois makes a fucking mess of things the same way most women do (am I fat, do you really love me, am I ugly)" and then turns into "Lois becomes a phantom, marries the devil, and then turns black".

I love how in the old days they actually used to put speech bubbles on the cover...

Some of those pictures make me really want to read the comics.....particularly the Black one and the Pat Boone issue.

p.s i read tyhe black lois lane issue.
she was doing a story on black folk and how hard they have it on the projects (this was back when comics were socially "responsible" during the 70's)
so she decided to be a black woman for a day to see the injustice. blah.blah.blah. she fought the "man" and the "system". superman, with his superior alien brain, laughed at them all.

Seriously guys, you shouldn't be allowed to post these unless you can provided scans of the entire issue. Such teasing is truly criminal. How are Batman and Superman going to stop Lois from going to the DEATH HOUSE?!? And who really killed Lana Lang?

Nah, she has always been in the actual Superman series. Same basic story about her growing up in Smallville with Clark, being his first love.

Lana Lang has always been in the Superman comics, she's even in the various current issues of Superman.

A good friend owns this one. He paid like $150 for it mint at a con, and the first thing we did when we got back to the hotel was crack that fucker open and read it.

I know that. I was refurring to the people who claim to have thought she was created for the show. Obviously if they hadn't seen the movies then they wouldn't have read the books.
