I started a freeway pileup during a storm and while I was watching from the shoulder, out of nowhere a plane dropped out of the sky and blew up the whole pile :lol

Yeah something like that happened to me once too. I was just doin my thing running down the street onetime and right in front of me a plane crashed and blew up like 7 cars. Everyone was screaming, etc etc.

The plane crashes are NOT scripted? One guy said how one a huge plane came down in the middle of the lake he was swimming in, and then he dove down and swam around the wreckage.

BTW, how do I derail the train? Just pile up lots of shit in front of it? Hor hor hor

Nope. It's just supposed to better show that there's a world going on outside of what you're doing. I've seen numerous times the cops chasing someone else down, while I just watched.

The train will always derail when it hits a certain speed (it's easiest to find out when by failing the freight train missions)

The most hilarious thing in the entire game is being chased by motorcycle cops and slamming on the brakes really quickly.
